A lovely wee villa about a 15 minute walk from the town centre.. had everything you needed and to top it off was left a lovely welcome pack to start us off. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.. will definitely be back

Great stay

The property had everything we needed. Has WiFi and A/C in each room and a smart TV to connect to Netflix etc. Nice little welcome pack of food and drink to get you started. On a great complex, not too busy always room round the pool which is nice and big. There's 2 other pools to choose from too Nice food from the bar

Delightful stay at lovely villa in quiet resort with excellent facilities.

We had a lovely week staying at Casa Camelot. The accommodation is excellent very well equipped. The terraces were lovely one on roof at front of villa and to the side. 15-20 minute walk to the centre and a good place to visit other towns and villages in the Algarve from. Would highly recommend and would be happy to return.

Great property in a fantastic area, very well equipped, would have given it a 5, only it's in need of a bit of TLC, and the stairs to the roof terrace feel unsafe.

Nice quiet resort with pool and shop just a few minutes walk and a nice 15/20 min walk to the beach. Lovely big house, well equipped and with nice outside areas. Need to be careful on the steep steps outside to the roof, but worth it for the view. Mattress was a little uncomfortable, but was told it was about to be replaced.

This townhouse is not new but is comfortable and designed and decorated in typical Portuguese style. It was clean and better equiped in every sense than any other rental we have stayed in. Would throughly recommend. Only drawback is that the estimated 15 minute walk to Carvoiero is more like 30 minutes. However the local taxi company charges less than 5 each way. It saves older legs!

Quiet location

Basic 2 bedroom holiday house. Good location in a pleasant complex. House is well equipped but In need of a refresh Great little sitting area outside the front door. Parking is located in front of the house Due to the house being empty for some time it did smell stale and required a mop and wipe down to the work surfaces. Bathroom lighting did not work when we arrived but was replaced by David straight away.

In die Jahre gekommenes, beengtes Häuschen

Positiv ist die Lage, ruhig und fußläufig zu Carvoeiro "Downtown" und die neue Couch sowie die Küche, denn die ist übervoll mit Schüsseln, Schalen etc., aber hat alles was man braucht (Kaffeemaschine, Kapselmaschine, Saftpresse und kleine Kühlbox mit Kühlakkus im Gefrierfach vom Kühlschrank). Es steht eine Waschmaschine und ein Trockner zur Verfügung. Zur Begrüßung gibt einen kleinen Rest Spülmittel, eine Rolle Toilettenpapier und einen Spülmaschinentab nebst Spülbürste, sowie Wasser, Brot, Butter, Käse und Wurst.Nun zum weniger Schönen: Negativ ist leider einiges, worüber wir auch Borboleta-Management informiert haben.Das Haus erschlägt durch muffigen Geruch (wegen der alten Möbel?), der durch selbst gekaufte Raumerfrischer etwas besser wurde. Die Kleiderschränke sind nur zur Hälfte nutzbar, da entweder mit Krempel zugestellt oder abgesperrt, weil vom Besitzer genutzt.Die Matratzen sind so durchgelegen, wie ich es noch nie erlebt habe und ich war froh als der Urlaub vorbei war.Es gibt keine Fliegengaze an FensternTüren, somit kein Entrinnen vor den Mücken, dank der Büsche und Bouganvillaen direkt am Haus.Die Dachterrasse (eine unserer Buchungskriterien) ist nur durch eine steile, rostige Treppe erreichbar und kaum nutzbar, denn auch der neue Sonnenschirm fällt bei kleinsten Wind um. Ein neues Tischlein, zwei Stühle gibt es jetzt, sowie Sonnenliegenauflagen.Von uns leider keine Empfehlung, da einfach abgewohnt und vom Besitzer nicht durch das Management gepflegt.

Entspannter Restsommer

Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Küche ist perfekt ausgestattet. Sogar den Pool konnte man Ende Oktober noch benutzen. Dass am Nebenhaus Bauarbeiten durchgeführt wurden, konnte ja niemand voraussehen. In der Anlage befindet sich auch ein nettes Restaurant und ein kleiner Supermarkt, in dem man alles nötige kaufen kann.

Unterkunft mit toller Aussicht

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft. Sie liegt superschön mit Blick aufs Meer. Der Pool mit Bar, ein kleiner Laden und eine Gaststätte gehören zur Anlage und sind schnell zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft war sauber und super ausgestattet, aber manches ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte mal ausgewechselt werden. Das wäre aber das einzige, was zu kritisieren wäre. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Gerne wieder

Insgesamt waren wir mit diesem Ferienhaus sehr zufrieden! Der Kontakt zur Agentur war reibungslos. Zum Empfang war ein kleiner Willkommensgruß im Kühlschrank, das war sehr aufmerksam. Die Lage des Hauses mit der Nähe zum Meer ist sehr angenehm. Der Pool im Gemeinschaftsclubhaus ist fußläufig 5min. entfernt. Sicher wäre es hilfreich, wenn Moskitonetze vor Ort wären. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist sehr reichhaltig, die Schränke allerdings sehr überfüllt und unsortiert. Vorteilhaft ist auch die Auswahl aus 3 Terrassen! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Paradiso mit kleinen Abstrichen

Alles in allem eine Unterkunft für einen entspannten Aufenthalt. Die Übernahme war durch David äußerst freundlich und unkompliziert. Das Haus liegt in einem sehr ruhigen Arreal, von dem aus man zu Fuß innerhalb 15 min die Stadt und den Strand erreichen kann. Einkaufen kann man um die Ecke, wenn man mal nicht zum Atlantik will, liegt eine schöne Poolanlage in der Nähe. Das Haus selbst ist gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, um sich selbst versorgen zu können. Sehr schön der kleine mit Ranken überdeckte Innenhof. Leider haben sich im Laufe der Jahre in der Küche ein Sammelsurium von Einzelteilen angesammelt, die mal durchgeforstet werden sollten. Die Beseitigung kleiner Mängel würde dem Haus guttun und keinen großen Aufwand erfordern, den Gesamteindruck aber verbessern. Das Plastikmobiliar wird dem Haus auch nicht gerecht. Alles in allem konnten wir gut damit leben und hatten eine schöne Zeit.
