Bingen am Rhein is nestled in the enchanting landscape of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Upper Middle Rhine Valley.” Immerse yourself in a world of castles and legends. The city of St. Hildegard is bordered on the north by the “green jewel”—the city forest, which spans over 2,000 hectares. Four wine-growing regions and holiday areas converge here. Bingen is the ideal starting point for excursions in every direction. Nestled between the forest, the Rhine, the Nahe, and the vineyards, the area offers every conceivable variety of experiences. Enchanting river landscapes, impressive gorges, romantic valleys, and historic buildings line endless cycling and hiking trails. As a reward, stop for a break at one of our forest lodges or wine taverns. The Loreley and the many castles can also be admired from a passenger boat. Bingen’s Kulturufer is one of the most beautiful riverside promenades along the Rhine. A visit to Rüdesheim by ferry is also well worth it. Visit Drosselgasse or take the cable car for a ride over the vineyards. The suspension bridge and Villa Rustica (from Roman times) are just two of the 46 stops along the Binger Wald Adventure Trail.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Bingen hat uns positiv überrascht. Die Unterkunft liegt wunderbar. Gleich in der Nähe sind ein fantastischer Aussichtspunkt und ein traumhaftes Naturfreibad. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und sauber. Die Vermieter sehr, sehr nett und unkompliziert.
