In the district of Arolo 2.3 km from the centre of Leggiuno, in an elevated position on a slope, 150 m from the lake, in a cul-de-sac, in the woods. For shared use: natural state property with trees. 800 m long narrow motor access to the house (via unmade road). Stepped path to the house. Width of access road: 210 cm. Supermarket 9 km, restaurant 2 km, bar 2 km, bus stop 1.2 km, railway station "Sangiano" 2.9 km, shingle beach 3 km, rocky beach 130 m (small), grass beach "Arolo" 1.4 km. Golf course (18 hole) 13 km. Nearby attractions: Varese 17 km, Santa Caterina del Sasso 3 km, Angera 15 km. Please note: car recommended. The beach in approx. 130 m distance is a beach with rocks and stones. Access via a natural forest trail, partly steep.

Beautiful private location, simple amneties

The location, and relative privacy of this house to the neighbors on the same compound is great. It would be an amazing holiday destination if the interior would be a bit more updated. The kitchen utensils are hand-me-downs, there is not a matching glass (only 4 in total!) in the house. The mattress/bedsheets are too old, the chairs are simply uncomfortable, the lighting plan can do with an update. Our tip: invest 2000 euro at IKEA to lift the place from 1971 to 2021.

Ferienhaus La Pitorre

Wir hatten tolle zwei Wochen, das Haus ist echt toll wenn man es rustikal mag. Alles war sehr sauber und unser Ansprechpartner/in vor Ort ist echt super und sehr freundlich. Der Weg zur Wohnung ist etwas schwierig aber es geht, dafür bekommt man einen echt schönen Aufenthalt. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen so das wir wieder hingehen würden.

Hübsches Haus in toller Lage, aber...

... leider doch sehr "rustikal", alles etwas ungepflegt/vernachlässigt. Küchenausstattung mangelhaft, es gab weder ein Nudelsieb noch Weingläser. Im Haus und auf den Terrassen keinerlei bequeme Sitzmöbel.

Gern versichern wir Ihnen, dass genügend Gläser vorhanden sind, das Nudelsieb befindet sich im Küchenschrank. Draußen werden PVC Gartenstühle sowie ein Tisch zur Verfügung gestellt. Der Innenraum ist, wie auf den Fotos gezeigt, mit Holzstühlen ausgestattet, sowie mit Bänken und einem Sofa. In der Küche gibt es zum Frühstück eine Kaffee- und Cappuccino-Maschine für den Komfort unserer Gäste. Es tut uns leid zu hören, dass Sie nicht voll zufrieden waren, versichern Ihnen jedoch, dass die Kollegen vor Ort gern assistieren, um den Urlaub angenehm zu gestalten. Wir freuen uns, Sie wieder als Gast begrüßen zu können.

Bij aankomst viel het ons eerst tegen. Gelet op de gelezen recensies hadden we een andere verwachting. We hadden de beschrijvende tekst anders gelezen en kwamen ter plekke tot de ontdekking dat de houtkachel de enige manier van verwarming was. Was de eerste paar dagen best fris. Daarnaast was er geen wifi aanwezig, wat voor tieners toch erg wenselijk is. Uiteindelijk toch een hele mooie, goeie week gehad met ons gezin met dank aan de gastvrouw.

Leuk huis op een fantastische plek

Een mooi en ruim huis op een geweldige locatie. Wel erg achteraf, daar moet je van houden. Je hebt alle privacy en ruimte rondom het huis. Onze hond was mee en kon geweldig los lopen in en rond het huis. Het wandelpad naar de zee is niet echt begaanbaar dus daar heb je de auto wel bij nodig. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, magnetron, oven, ingebouwd koffiezetapparaat etc. Het is er ook erg lekker koel.
