2BED/2BATH Beach flat one block off the sand. Second story home boasting beautiful views over sunny Avila Beach. Originally built in 1954 this home has been completely remodeled but has preserved that nostalgic feeling of the old fishing village it used to be. This property provides everything you would need including an site laundry area. All you will need to bring is your food and suitcases. There is a Private outside deck with Gas BBQ Grill and Patio Furniture to enjoy the sunsets over the Avila Bay. Additional sleeping arrangements are available by way of an air mattress as well. WIFI is available with nice size flat screen televisions through out the home.....

NOTICE!!!!!..... LOUD GATHERINGS AND NOISE VIOLATIONS ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO IMMEDIATE FORFEITURE OF DAMAGE DEPOSITS!!

Great little gem

Location was perfect. Very calming and relaxing. The kids (teenagers) enjoyed the vacation and approved of this house- which says a lot! My favorite part was going to the coffee shop just steps away for a latte and enjoying it on the deck while watching the ocean. Will definitely stay again next time! One thing to be aware of is there is construction going on nearby, which starts promptly at 7am and can drown out the sounds of the waves hitting the beach. It didn’t bother us, but thought I should mention it just in case others have concern. Overall, book it before it’s gone! Paradise is calling….

This our first time using VRBO for Avila Beach. We usually stay at San Luis Bay Inn. But we are glad we got this little place this trip. Perfect location, one block from the beach. The deck was awesome with great views of the beach. Eateries are 5-8 minutes walk depending on what you want to eat. Our favorite is the Custom House. We took most of the stuff we needed with in term of food and the like. But a short 15 minute drive to the nearest Walmart. There was three of us and it had plenty of room. With two bedrooms and bathrooms, we had a great time and we will be going back to our favorite getaway place/our happy place Aviia Beach.

Avila Beach Getaway

The property was great for our stay in Avila Beach. The location and view could not be better. We spent a lot of time on the deck, in both the morning and the evening. The beds were very comfortable. We were there for a wedding so did not use the kitchen much. Also enjoyed the quick and easy stroll to the lovely beach.

Amazing views and place.

First of all, Avila it self is a gorgeous beach town full of wildlife and great eats. The place had amazing views that you could enjoy from very comfortable seating.The beds are very comfortable and the place itself is furnished great. The patio is great for a read and some rays.We loved our stay and will be going again.Host was very helpful.

Excellent location and amazing views!

We stayed here for 3 nights over NYE and had a great time! The location of the property is perfect walking distance to town ((1 block away). The views from the unit were amazing as well. The furniture and decor were nice and the beds were comfortable. A little difficulty with getting the bedroom windows open, but it wasn't a big deal because of the season. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Nice, but needs maintenance.

Beautiful view, very nice decor. Very cute house. However the coverings on just about every window were broken in some way or another. Odd that the drawers were not available for unpacking in the second bedroom. They were all full of betting. Also when it was cool we could not find a heater thermostat. Fortunately it never got cold enough for us to be uncomfortable.

It was our first time in the village of Avila Beach and our location was great, just steps from the beach. The unit is cute and well maintained, beds are comfy and the view is classic CA beach. This is a quiet home base for exploring the busier areas. The host was friendly and super responsive to questions. Would definitely stay again!

I was born and raised on the Central Coast and I am 4th generation to this area. I come from a family of Fishermen, Abalone Divers and Tug Boat Operators. Avila Beach has always been my playground and back yard and I am very excited to own a property here that enables me to share the fun and beauty Avila Beach has to offer with others.

Why they chose this property

Location, convenience and views mean so much when you are choosing a beach home for your vacation. You can enjoy the Ocean and Sunset views of the Avila Bay from the living room or the oversized deck. The beach and downtown area is conveniently located only 1 block from the property. Also less than 5 minutes away is the San Luis Country Club Golf Course, a par 71, 6500-yard championship course. The front nine is situated within oak-lined valleys. The back nine transverses a tidal estuary. Golfers of all abilities will enjoy the challenge of this scenic course. If you are here for the water activities, Avila Beach is a good choice. Also less than 5 minutes away is Port San Luis which offers, Whale Watching Tours from December through March and Fishing Charters all year round. Due to the break water in the marina, there is over 1 mile of beach that is well known for its gentle waves making it a perfect swimming beach plus the microclimate weather offers one of the warmest beaches on on the Central Coast.
