Location excellent. Deck wonderful. Doors to open deck, challenging. Bring all spices, condiments, etc if you plan to cook in the nice kitchen. There was a lack of basics. Suggest host provide nice supply of: oil, vinegar, variety of spices at minimum. All in all very nice place.

We had a wonderful day at this Avila Beach apartment! Quiet, clean, comfortable. Had great pots and pans and kitchen utensils. The air conditioner and fans work great. Nice bathroom and shower. The king size bed is really comfortable. Our teenage boys say the sofa bed is not the most comfortable thing, but sofa beds rarely are! We love being able to walk into the town and the sunset views from the deck were lovely! We look forward to returning!

Everything was very clean. We never had access to Wi-Fi during our three day stay so we were never able to use the TV and had limited access to our phones. Parking is very small and difficult to get in and out of. One of the photos we felt was a little deceiving because it made it appear that you could see the ocean from the balcony of our room, which you could not. Our host was excellent. He tried really hard to get the Wi-Fi working. And to help us with the code for the door, which was not working. The inside of the place is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The Coral House was clean and well equipped with everything for our stay, and it was close to downtown but doesn't have an ocean view as indicated. The host was very responsive too. I personally wasn't familiar with this type of wall heating system so perhaps the host can print out some step by step instructions for future guests, and put them in a welcome booklet on the coffee table as that would be helpful. We eventually figured it out, but it was a little chilly upon our arrival. We would definitely stay there again.

What a gem!The Coral House is a quick walk away from the beach, shops and restaurants yet far enough away that it is a quiet and peaceful place to stay. The house is on a second story with a storage area below so no worries about noise and surrounded by plants, flowers and fruit trees…what a retreat! We walked into a spotlessly clean and welcoming space with lots of windows and light and a bifold glass door that opened completely to a spacious deck that was perfect for early morning coffee and watching the sunset in the evening. While we’re normally in a hurry to get out of a hotel room, we actually looked forward to getting back to this place…it felt like home sweet home. Although the listing shows ocean view, there isn’t one. But we could hear the waves and the view of the hills and trees, twinkling lights and stars and birds flying by…we were happy! The Coral House will be where we stay when we come to Avila.

This was a wonderful property, I loved how the living room windows completely opened and let the outdoors in, the view of the trees/hills was stunning. The outdoor space was so nice and the bed, so comfy. There were also two beach chairs, which was fantastic and the beach was only 1 short block away. We loved the property so much, we would like to come back every year!
