Welcome to the “Wattkieker” in Utersum on Föhr—a stylish thatched-roof holiday home that combines tranquility, nature, and exclusive living right by the sea. Just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, this special retreat for up to five people awaits you—ideal for families, couples, or friends seeking the authentic North Sea experience.

This spacious home combines North Frisian charm with high-quality living comfort. The bright living and dining area with a fireplace forms the heart of the home and invites you to enjoy relaxed evenings in a cosy atmosphere. Large windows and direct access to the terrace bring nature right into the house, creating an open, warm living environment.

The modern, fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need for shared cooking experiences, while several bedrooms upstairs provide quiet retreats for restful nights. Especially convenient: two bathrooms ensure a relaxed stay even when hosting multiple guests.

A real highlight is the wellness area with a sauna, which offers pure relaxation after long walks on the beach. There’s also a beautiful garden with a terrace and sunbathing areas—perfect for quiet moments in the sun or breakfast outdoors.

The location in Utersum is unique: The expansive sandy beach is only about 500 metres away and offers breathtaking sunsets with views of the neighbouring islands of Sylt and Amrum.

Utersum itself is the quietest and westernmost village on the island of Föhr—ideal for anyone seeking nature, open spaces, and relaxation. Narrow paths, the sea right nearby, and a laid-back atmosphere make this place special.

A parking space right next to the house and Wi-Fi are, of course, available. Check-in is possible starting at 4:00 p.m., and contactless check-in is available upon request. Bed linens and towels can be booked as add-ons, and longer stays are also possible.

Key pickup is available Monday through Saturday between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM—and, upon request, we’re happy to arrange a hassle-free contactless pickup. Check-out is available by 10:00 AM. To ensure you can relax and enjoy your holiday from start to finish and make the most of your time with us, we’re happy to offer early check-in or late check-out upon prior arrangement and for an additional fee.
