The lodging is located in a quiet, well-maintained house on the outskirts of Ettenhausen near Schleching—a mountain-climbing village.
Right from the lodging, you can access beautiful hiking trails, including the famous Smugglers’ Trail to Austria.
The location of the lodging—or rather, the house—is absolutely perfect. It’s the ideal place to relax, unwind from the stresses of everyday life, and achieve a healthy work-life balance.
The holiday rental includes a terrace with a private garden. Please make sure your pet does not enter the neighbors’ garden.
In the basement of the house, there is a wellness lounge with a sauna, which guests are welcome to use for a small fee.
The house also has an underground car park. The garage has direct access to the apartment through the house.

The holiday apartment is tastefully and elegantly furnished. It consists of a total of four rooms—kitchen, bathroom, living/dining room, and bedroom.
In addition to kitchen utensils, the kitchen is equipped with a coffee maker (including coffee beans) and a kettle. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, a stove, and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment.
The bathroom has a shower/tub combination. The cabinet under the sink contains extra toilet paper and a hair dryer.
The living and dining room has a dining table that seats four people. Please use the provided dishes for food and drinks. The wood-burning stove in the living room must not be used.
The bedroom accommodates two people with a box-spring bed measuring 160 x 200 cm. An additional person can sleep on the sofa bed (100 x 200 cm) in the living room. Please note that the bedroom is not separated from the living room by a lockable door.
Hiking and cross-country skiing: Several hiking trails run right past the accommodation, including the well-known Schmugglerweg, which leads from Ettenhausen through the Entenlochklamm gorge to the Klobenstein. You can also enjoy beautiful hikes around the Geigelstein starting from there. In winter, a cross-country ski trail (classic/skating—free technique) stretching over 20 km begins just a few minutes’ walk from the accommodation.
Skiing / Snowboarding and Sledding: In Ettenhausen, the Steinrückenlift is open in winter. The winter sports area there is especially popular with children and teenagers. In addition to skiing and snowboarding, there’s also the option to go sledding right next door. The nearest major ski resorts are just a few minutes away by car—Kössen (about 15 minutes). The Kössen ski resort is located in one of the snowiest regions of Tyrol, the Kaiserwinkl.
