Ocean Tree House - Mountain Views, Wrap Around Balcony, Privacy and Serenity

Our lovely beach house perches high in the tree tops with serene mountain and forest views. Sip your morning coffee while viewing wildlife and birds on the wrap around balcony. Relax in the evening in front of a roaring fire in our cozy high vaulted ceiling cabin with hardwood floors throughout the house.

We offer free wireless internet, a flat-screen HDTV with free Netflix and Apple+ streaming and an assortment of games and books. The kitchen is fully equipped with new appliances and an assortment of condiments and teas.

The master bedroom suite comes with a large attached master bath complete with jacuzzi tub. Both bedrooms are fully appointed with comfortable queen-sized beds, quality mattresses, and premium linens. We provide quality eco/friendly soap, shampoo and conditioner.

Stroll our beautiful private beach: You will have access to our community's private beach with over 5 miles of beautiful sandy beach for long strolls, surf fishing and exploring tide pools. The beach is a 12 minute walk or can be accessed by a 4 min car ride with our electronic gate pass. You can also explore and stroll around the nearby Irish Beach pond, a short walk from the house.

Please note there is a short steep driveway to the house and one flight of stairs into the house (first level is garage).

Load the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please make sure garage door opener back in the lock box by the garage and beach access key back in the house
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Use of fire candles not allowed.
Please no loud music or loud noise after 10 PM due to Irish Beach noise curfew.
No dogs on furniture unless you bring your own blanket to place between your dog and the furniture. Cats are never allowed.

Set in the hills above Irish Beach, the house feels like you're living in the trees. If you lay out some bird seed in the feeder on the veranda, Woodpeckers and Stellers Jays will gather to eat (not at the same time, though). The home is lovely and comfortable.

wonderful place and the care for it by the owner is very evident. The only comment not about the property which I love is that folks need to know that this location is not near many restaurants or cafes. For anyone that cooks, the property has a fine kitchen. I do not and it became a pain to have to drive 30-40 minutes each way two or three times a day to dine. But again, anyone that could cook would not have this issue.I would go back in a minute.

We enjoyed our stay at Ocean Tree House. The accommodations were very comfortable for my husband and I and our small dog. Proximity to Irish Beach was just a short drive, however the road down to the beach was an incredibly steep one way road with sharp curves which was a bit intimidating! The beach was lovely. The kitchen had everything we needed and was well organized. The barbecue grill worked nicely. There was lots of interesting wildlife visible from the deck. We saw many types of birds, a number of deer and a small gray fox. The birds loved to come to the bird feeder as soon as we put a scoop of bird seed it.

We stayed a couple of nights in order to avoid the summer heat in the Sacramento area. The house is dated but still very nice and with lots of amenities. The living room had a very comfortable couch and chairs and the deck was awesome. As other reviewers mentioned, they provide wild bird seed and so we really enjoyed watching the wide variety of birds visit the deck. The neighborhood is beautiful and mellow with nice people and wildlife. Also as has been mentioned, the driveway is a short but very steep downhill. Once you can get into the garage, it makes loading and unloading the car much easier. And of course, the beach is very close and spectacular. Time the tides right and it's great tide pooling. We would return.

Located in a quiet, safe, beautiful neighborhood, Ocean Tree House with its amazing private beach was a relaxing retreat. Point Arena Lighthouse and Bowling Ball Beach are not too far away, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that nearby S & B Market & Hardware in Manchester has a large selection of fresh fruits and vegetables!

We loved the house. Everything was upgraded and wonderful. As an “older” couple the stairs and steep driveway were challenges but we survived! Being able to use the garage was a lifesaver.

Loved the birds!

This place was amazing! I loved feeding the birds and watching them while I had my morning breakfast and coffee. I was only there a few days and I do recommend the horse beach ride. Beautiful scenery everywhere in that area. We drove to a few other beaches and explored them too and went to the lighthouse

It’s a nice little house with amazing views. I stayed there with my dog which was allowed and it was more house than needed. There is private beach access but I recommend getting groceries on the way. There are not many close restaurants but the kitchen is fully equipped!

Love this house!

This is our second trip to this wonderful little treehouse. It’s tiny cozy has an amazing patio with the birdfeeder. The host has provided all the comfort of home and a lovely and cozy environment.
