Family get away

From start to finish, our stay at Dream Inn was wonderful. Excellent lake access! Boat rental was very easy. Deck was very versatile and comfortable. Quiet and peaceful setting!!

GREAT family vacation spot!

I highly recommend the "Dream Inn" to anyone going to Norrie Lake. The house is in the perfect location. Close to 3 great marina's and the jumping bridge. The house was clean and spacious with a charming decor.We especially enjoyed the beautiful sunrises on the huge deck every morning. Looking forward to our next stay at the Dream Inn!!!

Amazing Lake View!

My family had an Amazing time at the Lake House- Communication with the owners was great and very easy. The deck overlooking the water is one of the Best on Norris- I could sit out there forever! The beds were very comfortable and the house was very well furnished - We Highly Recommend!

Great location, beautiful views

My family and I just wrapped up our Memorial Day weekend at Dream Inn. We had a wonderful time and the Dream Inn was perfect. You will not find a better location on the lake. Just minutes (by boat) from a great breakfast at Springs Dock, a night out at the Tiki Bar (Deerfield) or an afternoon at the Jumping Bridge. The views from the porch are breathtaking. We have stayed at Norris many times and the Dream Inn is by far one of our favorites!! Great family and great communication!

More than Expected!!

Everything with the property was better than expected! Amenities that were not listed with the property were fantastic! If we didn't bring half of or usual items to the lake, Dream Inn would've been able to provide for us. The house was very nice, the view was fantastic and Nicole was a pleasure to deal with! We hope to return again soon!

Spectacular view! AndAmazing lake house ! Highly recommended! I’ve stayed in over a dozen lake houses at Norris and they have all been wonderful! But this house rises above, plenty of room for large group or family, TVs in every room that actually work! And bunkbeds that are actually comfortable!. Outside there is a multilevel deck, including a covered area so much fun to sit in the evening! Also a gas grill and an outdoor gas flat grill. Excellent for burgers or breakfast. Relatively easy hike down the yard to the dock with room for two boats. This home is appointed with everything you need and some surprises! The icemaker just outside the house on the way down to the lake is a great touch and the only one I’ve seen!The hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful. We will be back.

Family and Friends at Norris Lake

We had a great week even with 2 days of rain, we still had plenty of room to play games inside, and watch movies, and some were able to set outside under the covered deck and read or play card games. The access to the covered dock was very nice; we were able to quickly get out onto the lake and tube and kneeboard. The dock had a ladder to allow the kids to swim as well as the adults to float around on a raft. The drink cooler was a nice bonus; it eliminated us from having to buy ice all the time to keep the drinks cool. The only recommendation we would add is to make sure you bring a pairing knife. There was only 1; it made it hard for multiple people preparing meals if both need to cut up something.

Great Time!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dream Inn. We went with another family and our young adult children. The "kids" enjoyed the master bedroom with its 2 king size beds and a set of bunk beds. If you have young children, there was a chalk wall and lots of other kid toys to play with. Our kids called the master bedroom the orphanage. The owners were extremely nice and easy to work with. The view was one of the best we have seen on the lake. The dock was easy to get to with few steps and a gentle slope. There was plenty of parking. The only thing we didn't care for was the jack and jill bathroom between the 2 bedrooms. In order to get to it you had to walk through someone's bedroom. Not a biggie, but it doesn't provide for much privacy. We would definitely stay here again!

We have an on suite and a whole new bathroom/laundry room with access from the living room area.

Very kid friendly with amazing view

I would give this 5 stars but by the owner's own admission, it is their work in progress. At present, it is an interesting combination of tropical, mountain/lake, retro chillaxing comfort. The improvements thus far are very nice and attractive. It's all about the back decks, patio and yard which are wonderful. I prefer the yard approach to the dock instead of the steps off the patio. There are several steps from the yard to the dock (depending on the level of the lake) which are very easy to climb and descend. They have tons of toys and books for the little ones in a nice area which is tucked next to a wall where they can play without trashing the living room. The kitchen is well stocked with very nice cookware. Unfortunately, the ice machine was not available during our stay. Dream Inn gets 5 stars for the location and convenience of walking to Springs Dock marina for food, 'things' and rentals or launching your own watercraft. Their dock is great for boating or swimming right at the house. The view is definitely the best I have ever had in all the rentals I have stayed in on Norris. The owners were great to deal with and very prompt to answer questions and assist with planning.

Since your stay, we have officially made big changes. Thanks to all our renters. We used our rent money to take out the fireplace and paneling in the living room. The pink jack and jill bathroom was demolished. We have an on suite off one bedroom and a brand new bathroom/ laundry off the living area.

Carefree lake stay

Everything was great except we had to stop get essentials like tp etc. needed to bring towels which both seem could be provided. Otherwise it was a great property with ample bedrooms and baths. Plenty of televisions but noone turned one on due to the amazing porch and lake view

Perfect Location

The house was perfect for our trip with our children and grandkids. The covered slip kept the boat dry during a night rain. The deck had a gate and was almost fully enclosed making it easy to keep the little ones corralled. The walk to the dock was much easier than any we have experienced in past years. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything thing you could need. The owners were wonderful to work with and even called me to give detailed directions. This location on the lake is fabulous! Walking distance to Springs marina, very short boat ride to the Deerfield resort area and a few minutes from a great little winery.

Amazing view

The property had a large deck where you could sit and enjoy the view of the lake. The house was clean and spacious. The owners had great communication skills about the house and even sent an email with directions because they knew their was a chance of little to no service on Google maps to get there.

Dream Inn

Beautiful property with lovely view of Powell River. It was a perfect set up for my 2 year old grandson. Safe deck that ran along the entire house, partially covered. There were even some toys for him. We rented a boat for a few days. We mostly stayed at the property. It would be perfect for several families to share. The owner was helpful and easy to work with.

Highly recommend

The house was great, the view was great, easy to get the boat in and out, not a single complaint. The marina was an easy walk from the house to give the kids a change of scenery, get ice cream or a bite to eat, etc. The view is the best part of the property in my opinion, right on the water with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating options. Sheila was great and checked in to make sure we didnt need anything or have any trouble. Thanks Dream Inn, we will be back next year!

Why they chose this property

We bought the property because of the VIEW, the gentle grade to the lake and the convenience of being close to the Marina . We purchased this property with never intending to rent . Then we realized that we pretty much knew our schedule for the summer early in the year due to work and family commitments. So we decided to open up our home to other families so they can enjoy it as much as us. We take the rental money we make and put it right back into renovations on the house. We want our guest to feel as if they are a part of our lake family and feel like they are "home" when they choose to stay with us.
