*Main bedroom unusable due to strong sewage smells*We booked this property hoping for a comfortable family holiday, but unfortunately our experience was significantly impacted by issues that made the apartment difficult to use.From the start of our stay, a strong sewage smell was present inside the property. This wasn’t an occasional whiff—it was persistent and overwhelming, even lingering on our clothes on our return home.•The master bedroom and bathroom became completely unusable. There was no door between that bathroom and the bedroom to stop some of the smell.•We had to move mattresses into the front room to sleepWe reported the issue to the local keyholder, who explained there was nothing she could do beyond providing a fabric refresher. The listing states: “Neighbourhood highly sensitive to noise. Quietness and good behaviour expected.” This is extremely misleading. There are two bars within 10 metres of the property, both operating late into the night. The neighbours also appear to be nocturnal—banging noises through the night were a nightly occurrence. As it stands, the combination of the sewage smell, loss of usable rooms, and the unexpected noise made this a very disappointing experience.Book it at your own risk, as we contacted VRBO every day to complain and nothing changed.
