Porschdorf is a district of the spa town of Bad Schandau in the Elbe Sandstone Mountains, which stretch from the Elbe Valley to the rocky region of the Rathener Steine. Our neighbouring districts—Prossen, located directly on the Elbe with a steamboat dock, and Waltersdorf, bordering the spa town of Rathen—offer, along with Porschdorf, extensive hiking and climbing opportunities for active recreation. The Lilienstein, one of the most striking table mountains in Saxon Switzerland, is located in the immediate vicinity.
