Orchard View Villa, Quinta Boa Vida

Located on the Silver Coast, a 15-minute drive from the famous white-sand surfing beach of Nazaré and ideally situated for visiting many must-see attractions, Quinta Boa Vida is a restored farmhouse that blends country charm with modern style, just about a 3-minute drive from city centre Alcobaça. After passing through the green iron gate, walk along the traditional granite cobblestone path to the typical Portuguese-style villas to enjoy nature, gardens, the pool deck, the BBQ area, and more.

Nestled in the picturesque hills of Alcobaça, our charming 1.7-hectare property offers a delightful retreat—formerly a traditional farm—perched on a characteristic hillside. With 360° views of the surrounding vineyards and nature, our estate offers four houses for accommodation—perfect for remote work or tourism—all featuring private patios for privacy. The property features its own creek, rows of vineyards, an apple orchard, olive trees, and various fruit trees, mountain views, and a small forest, making you feel as if you’re in a remote countryside—yet city amenities and essentials are just minutes away. We have a beautiful shared saltwater pool area where you can sunbathe and relax, as well as a BBQ area for those who enjoy cooking outdoors.

Orchard View Villa (58 m²)

This cosy villa charms with its high wooden cathedral/chalet-style ceilings, colourful tiles, and handpicked furniture. The spacious living room is ideal for gatherings, whether to enjoy good conversation over a glass of wine or to huddle around the television.

The modest yet well-equipped kitchen is sure to please the chef of the group. The villa includes two bedrooms—one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. The bathroom is cosy and enjoys natural light streaming in through a window.

The villa accommodates up to four guests, including children.

What truly sets this space apart is the breathtaking view from the master bedroom or the private balcony off the living room. From here, you’ll enjoy sunlight from morning until evening, with a picturesque view of vineyards stretching as far as the eye can see. Our property is adjacent to the estate of a well-known winemaker, Monte Capuchos, whose wines are available in stores. You’ll also have a bird’s-eye view of our orchard and a picturesque old ruin—perfect for the photographers in your group.

Each villa is equipped with air conditioning for heating or cooling as needed. We provide bed linens and bath towels for our guests (please bring your own beach towels for the pool).

- The pool is shared with all guests of the 5 villas, as is the BBQ area. The pool has a saltwater system and is not heated.
- Guests have access to everything within their private accommodation, as well as the communal amenities such as the pool, the gardens, BBQ areas, etc.

Nestled in the hills of Alcobaça, our picturesque 1.7-hectare property is a beautifully renovated farm perched on a characteristic hillside with 360° views of the surrounding vineyards and nature. It features its own creek, a few rows of vineyards, an apple orchard, olive and fruit trees of all kinds, mountain views, and a small forest—all of which give you the impression of being in a remote countryside, even though most essentials and city amenities are just minutes away.

The Quinta itself features five independent villas, each with its own private patio, and offers a wonderful blend of comfort and relaxation, with breathtaking views surrounding the property. The Quinta itself offers a peaceful and relaxing environment. Our pool area is located on the highest point of the property, offering beautiful views of the surroundings. The pool is large and deep—perfect for swimming—and features a saltwater system that is gentle on the skin. There is an outdoor shower, a wooden gazebo with a large round table, and a grassy area shaded by an ancient cork tree right next to it, complete with hammocks, comfortable lounge chairs, and umbrellas.

We also offer a shared BBQ area featuring a one-meter-long grill space that will satisfy even the most discerning grill master in any group. There’s also a traditional wood-fired pizza/bread oven and a sink with running water, so you and your loved ones can prepare an outdoor meal fit for any food lover.

In the lower part of the property, there is an open field with a small creek bed—made up of stones placed hundreds of years ago—that has running water during the winter months. Next to it, you’ll find a walnut tree that is well over a century and a half old—the perfect spot to read a book or enjoy a glass of wine. If you’re in the mood for a nice evening walk or a quiet picnic, please enjoy our private mini-forest, complete with a short loop trail and a stone picnic table along the way.
