We stayed here for a friend’s wedding in Italy. While the location was ideal, we were very disappointed with some basics. The fridge and freezer were turned off on arrival, taking over a day to cool in 39C heat, so we had no cold food or drinks. There was barely a full roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, the gas for cooking had been turned off at the mains, and the air conditioning remote didn’t work because the batteries were dead—again, not ideal in such heat.These are essentials you’d expect in a holiday rental, and it was frustrating to deal with them. The property has potential, but attention to these basics is really needed.
