About this property

Gladys Gables is a cute 1950’s style house near downtown & a park.

Home is named for my mom & has a large inviting living room & porch to sit on in warm weather. It’s about a 45 minute drive to The Ark Encounter, Bourbon Trails & Horse Farms. The Horse Park is about 25 minutes away. Check out the Walking Dead mural here where it all started & where the originators grew up. We have lots of restaurants & shops here. Everything you need in your home away from home in a friendly inviting community.

Lovely Family Home

It was great for my family of 6 to stay in for a wedding weekend. The host was very communicative. Everything was lovely. The house was equipped with lots of toys for anyone traveling with younger kids.

We had a wedding at Ashford Acres and this was the perfect place to stay for the weekend ! It was so clean and was well supplied with all that we needed. The host was helpful and always responded right away! We had a great time!

A fantastic stay

Stayed here for a family wedding. The house has beautiful hardwood floors, antique pieces, and a large living room with the most comfy couches. It has so many touches like coffee and snacks. It was very well furnished with extra sheets and towels. Check in and check out were easy. I would stay here again.

We had an issue with the furnace not working and the owners came over and brought us 4 ceramic heaters to use until it could be taken care of. we appreciated the quick response on their part and their kindness. we would definitely stay here again.

We went to the ark and creation museum and this is where we spent the night in between. The home was just as picture and had everything you could think of for comfort. We also met the owners who were so pleasant and eager to want to help should we need anything. We had an amazing night!

Family wedding weekend stay

Had a nice stay. Appreciated the ‘extras’ made available - snacks and coffee in the kitchen. The kids toys and games were a big hit!! Would be nice to have a few extra towel bars or hooks available in the bathroom. Park nearby was terrific. Unfortunately the house is located on a busy (loud) street…

Family wedding in Kentucky

Quaint little home. It’s location was very convenient for all of my family’s event. One suggestion I might add is to have some sort of small table or shelf in the main bathroom so guests can have a place to set their small personal items (toothbrush, hairbrush, contact lense cases, ect). The neighborhood is quite.

Wonderful, spacious, and clean

This place was absolutely spotless. We had everything we could possibly need and more! I liked that after a long day of travel we were able to go straight there and get inside securely without having to arrange a time to meet with the owner to gain access. I cannot say enough about how homey and clean this place was. We felt as if we were staying at grammas house. Just lovely! I cannot say enough good things.

After a long day at the ark encountered, it was so much more refreshing to step into a home with our children where they could unwind without being crammed into a motel room. Our kids really enjoyed the toys and games that were available. We would definitely stay again if the opportunity arose.

Ark Encounter and Creation Museum

Home was clean and comfortable, plenty of room for four adults and three children. Neighborhood was safe and it wasn’t far from the attractions we came to see. I would definitely suggest this home to anyone coming to this area.
