Summary:
Modern house for 8 people with fireplace, roof terrace and sauna directly on the Lübbesee.
The Space:
Our house is located directly on the beautiful Lübbesee in the Uckermark. With a view through the greenery to the glistening water. It awaits you with a sauna and sun loungers on the roof terrace. Here you can relax, enjoy peace, nature and the lake view.
Two large bedrooms have direct access to the roof terrace. From your bed, you can look out over the lake and the treetops. Or into the sky. If you sit in the panoramic window, you are almost in the forest.
We have designed the first floor to be barrier-free. Guests in wheelchairs can also move around freely here (but unfortunately we do not meet a DIN standard). The large, cozy living room with sofa, hanging chair and cast-iron fireplace has floor-to-ceiling windows and a sliding door to the terrace facing the lake. The spacious, well-equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired and
and you can eat at the large wooden plank table. Or on one of the two terraces - close to nature towards the lake or sociable towards the communal meadow.
In the “blue room” with its own ground-level terrace access to the lake, you can sleep as you wish (on a really comfortable queen-size sofa bed), watch TV or write a novel at your desk. Fast Internet is available for workation.
House 8 is heated with a modern heat pump and underfloor heating on both floors. There are two spacious bathrooms - one with a bathtub and one barrier-free with a floor-level shower.
The Templin lido is just a five-minute walk away. There is a shallow entrance to the lake and plenty of fine sand for building sandcastles.
Guest Access:
The vacation homes on Lake Lübbesee were completely renovated in 2023 and extended using sustainable timber construction methods. As ELF AM SEE, they offer a retreat for families and friends who are looking forward to the special tranquillity between the forest and the lake. We therefore attach particular importance to observing the quiet time between 22:00 and 08:00. Unfortunately, the houses are not suitable for parties, stag/hen parties and graduation parties. Due to the immediate location on the edge of the forest, open fires in any form (fire bowls, charcoal grills, mobile smokers, fireworks) are prohibited by law.
The Neighborhood:
The Lübbesee lake with its crystal-clear water has a real tradition of relaxation. From 1909, overworked Prussian postal workers were sent here to take a breather
(which is why the district is still called Postheim today). The best thing about this place is its location in the middle of it all: Where Templin (“Pearl of the Uckermark”!) ends and the Schorfheide (Germany's largest biosphere reserve!) begins, lies the Lübbesee.
If you are a good walker, you can walk to the supermarket in 20 minutes - or into the wilderness.
There is mini golf and a tree nature trail, gold panning in the Eldorado and if the weather is not so good, you can swim in the thermal baths instead of the lake. The Naturtherme Templin can be easily reached from the house on foot (25 min), by bike or car (4-6 min) or by bus (13 min). The mixture of unspoiled nature and good infrastructure is a blessing, especially for family vacations. There is simply too much to experience for cabin fever.
In the early 1990s, the architect had a really clever idea for the lakeside property: he placed the 11 vacation homes with their hexagonal floor plans next to each other so that you can see as much of the lake and forest as possible from every living room.
Our team of architects retained the basic idea and the exciting floor plan - and added a metal-clad upper floor in timber construction to 10 of the houses. This created space for spacious eat-in kitchens, another bathroom (some even with a sauna) and an additional bedroom. The wood was left visible in all the houses and now ensures pleasant acoustics and a great indoor climate.
The overall impression, the shape, the color and landscape design pursue the goal of harmonizing the houses with their surroundings despite their size and creating a harmonious, lively ensemble in which new perspectives on architecture and landscape open up with every step.
architecture and landscape. Where possible, natural materials were used and processed by local craftsmen.
