About this property
Charmantes Ferienhaus Wolf Schäfer
Summary:
... Vacation for everyone
We love the Baltic Sea, the forest and the moor, so we were happy when we found this little cottage with access to the Rostock Heath and a short (cycle) path through the forest and moor to the Baltic Sea. We lovingly renovated it according to ecological principles and furnished it to our taste. The result is an unusual ambience with Japanese, oriental and Scandinavian influences. We would like to share our joy, which is why we would like to welcome you to our Wolf Schäfer vacation home.
The Space:
living, eating ...
The spacious eat-in kitchen is bright and clear. The kitchen is well equipped with an oven, dishwasher, fridge with ice cube compartment, plenty of glasses, cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, wok, baking pans, a basic stock of spices and much more.
In the living area there is a sofa, TV and a hi-fi set.
sleep ...
2 bedrooms invite you to relax.
The Japanese-style tatami room with a floor table and ikebana branch, a comfortable double mattress with a back wall to lean on and a Japanese open wall unit.
There is also a rather Scandinavian small room with a dream bed and wood paneling on the walls and ceiling.
The bathroom is compact and clearly structured with a shower and washing machine.
and enjoy !
The terrace has a removable sunshade.
There is outdoor furniture, a sun lounger, fire bowl, barbecue, herb bed, fruit trees, berry bushes, and depending on the season even tomatoes, fruit and vegetables from the garden.
The Neighborhood:
... forest, moor and Baltic Sea
Rostock Heath.
Darß primeval forest.
The Rostock Heath is the largest contiguous coastal forest in Germany. Together with the Gelbensander Forst and the Alte Heide, it forms a vast forest area criss-crossed by a network of cycling, riding and hiking trails.
Getting Around:
The legendary Darß primeval forest is only about 25 km away.
Large Ribnitz moor.
Hüttelmoor moor.
Neuhaus Moor.
The moors of the Rostock Heath are home to numerous, including rare, animal and plant species and are embedded in the extensive forest, but are always just a short distance from the sea.
Baltic Sea.
Saaler Bodden.
The fine white Baltic Sea sandy beach stretches from Warnemünde via Fischland to the Darß, which is freely accessible along the entire coast for almost 50 km and invites you to hike and swim.
The Saaler Bodden offers ideal conditions for kite surfing or fishing, as well as beautiful cycling and hiking trails.

Hanseatic city of Rostock with zoo, harbor, old town and cultural offerings --- Warnemünde with old harbor, restaurants, marina Hohe Düne, overseas port --- Graal-Müritz with pier, restaurants, beaches and shopping --- Dierhagen with riding stables Free as the Wind, cliffs, beach promenade, old harbor on the Bodden --- Ribnitz-Damgarten with amber museum, fishing port, old town, Bodden thermal baths
