Located right on the picturesque Middelburg Lakes, this holiday resort is a true paradise for anyone who loves water, nature, and active holidays. Water sports enthusiasts, in particular, will be in their element—the modern water ski and wakeboard facility on Lake Rumpel is right in front of your accommodation.

Cosy lodge with practical amenities

Your compact yet lovingly furnished lodge offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The combined living and sleeping area features a comfortable double bed and a bunk bed—ideal for couples or small families. In the kitchenette, equipped with two hob burners and a refrigerator, you can easily prepare a delicious breakfast or light meals. A private toilet is available for your daily use; modern shared showers are located nearby in the resort’s central washhouse. When the weather is nice, a barbecue—available to borrow free of charge—invites you to enjoy convivial evenings outdoors. Upon request, a high chair for toddlers can be provided for a small fee (please enquire in advance).

A variety of recreational activities for all ages

Seepark Süsel offers a wide range of recreational activities for the whole family. Head straight from your accommodation in your swimming costume to the nearby swimming lake, or explore the calm waters on a rented SUP board. For those seeking a thrill, the waterski and wakeboard facility is a real highlight—ideal for both beginners and advanced riders looking to hone their tricks (use subject to a fee).

An adventure playground for children, a beach volleyball court, and well-maintained hiking and walking trails make Seepark Süsel a place full of variety and relaxation. Family-friendliness is our top priority here—we therefore ask for your understanding that group trips with a party atmosphere are not permitted at this facility.

The Surroundings – Nature, lakes, and the Baltic Sea within easy reach

Süsel is located in the heart of East Holstein—between the Holstein Switzerland Nature Park and the expansive Baltic Sea coast. The popular beach towns of Sierksdorf and Haffkrug are only about 7 kilometres away, and their wide beaches invite you to sunbathe, swim, and take walks. But the region also reveals its charm outside of summer: In fall and winter, peaceful hiking trails and clear views beckon—for example, from Gömnitzer Berg, which, at about 95 metres high, offers a magnificent panoramic view all the way to the Baltic Sea—a perfect destination for an outing on cooler days.
