A romantic and peaceful retreat for two in the rolling hills between the Baltic Sea and picturesque Holstein Switzerland. Halfway between Lübeck and Fehmarn, Landhaus Hobstin is located on the outskirts of a tiny village with a population of 70. From here, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to the beach or the harbour town of Neustadt (Holstein).

Our “Skyscraper Suite” is the perfect retreat for those seeking relaxation.

The Bungsbergblick apartment is located in the attic of our adjacent building. It faces the garden and adjacent fields, away from the village. The quiet location and the bed in the attic are perfect for late sleepers and stargazers.

The staircase leading to the sleeping area is steep and not suitable for people with physical limitations!

The small kitchen with a sink features a decent stove with a convection oven and a glass-ceramic cooktop, topped by an exhaust hood vented to the outside. A spacious refrigerator with a freezer compartment offers plenty of room for your weekly groceries. A toaster, electric kettle, and coffee maker are also provided, as is a knife block with razor-sharp knives.

On cool days, the wood-burning stove provides wonderfully cosy warmth while you curl up on the comfortable sofa with a cup of tea or a glass of red wine.

On summer days, breakfast under the fruit trees in the garden is a tempting option. You can enjoy the glowing sunset and the view across the vast fields undisturbed in our spacious garden. A fire pit with a grill rack provides cosy warmth.

Wherever you’d like to sit—your hosts will do their best to place the appropriate garden furniture there.

The 5,000-square-meter park-like property features a comfortable lounge chair, garden armchairs, a grill, a fire pit, and a birch garden set, all of which are available for guests’ use. In addition, there are berry bushes, fruit trees, and nut trees, which you’re welcome to help yourself to.

The nearest Baltic Sea beach is about a 12-minute drive away. Walks, hikes, and bike rides start right at your doorstep. Numerous attractions and the historic Hanseatic city of Lübeck are within a 30-minute drive. The ride to Lübeck on the Bäderbahn train from Neustadt takes about 25 minutes. The small port town of Neustadt in Holstein offers everything your heart desires: restaurants, shopping, boat tours, fish sandwiches, and much more. The Holsteinische Schweiz Nature Park begins right in our garden.
