Wonderful home and an ideal place for our annual family gathering. Six of us stayed comfortably, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The house was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed. One of our favorite features was the large, comfortable porch overlooking Newport Bay—a perfect spot for morning coffee or an evening drink. The house is filled with natural light and enjoys wonderful cross-breezes throughout. The location could hardly be better. It’s just a five-minute walk to restaurants, a deli, boutiques, and the marina, all set within a beautiful neighborhood of mature gardens and charming homes. Newport is only about ten minutes away, and Narragansett is an easy sixteen-minute drive. There are also several beautiful parks and beaches nearby. We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and it’s hard to imagine a better combination of comfort, views, convenience, and location. We would gladly stay here again.

Hi Ellery, thanks for that incredible review. My father gave this house to my mother as a anniversary present in 1969. Our whole family has made memories on that front porch and hope to have my grandkids do the same it's truly a magical place. Please come back and try us again. The Zimmermann Family
My daughter was getting married and we had family coming from out of town. The home was the perfect size, location and everyone loved the house. It was perfect.
The home was the perfect spot for our trip. The bedrooms were nice and well-appointed, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The location was ideal for taking the ferry into Newport. The host was very easy to communicate with. We would rent it again!

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had a lovely time, and the large porch quickly became our favorite gathering spot — perfect for morning coffee and evening conversations. We truly appreciated the comfortable space and thoughtful touches throughout. It was the perfect setting for creating special memories.
Amazing home with plenty of room for our group of 6 and occasional guests. The house was very clean and the porch is a 10!! Such amazing views of the bay! We will definitely be returning for another stay!
What an amazing location. We had great weather and loved our long weekend on Jamestown. You can’t beat the views and ability to walk downtown. The yard was great for the kids, and the neighbors who share it were kind and welcoming. The outdoor shower helped a ton for our group! Plenty of beds - my kids enjoyed getting their own space. Host was responsive and helpful- thank you for everything! Hoping to return in the future.
A lovely property with a great view . Outside space was well thought out and we were in walking distance of shops and restaurants. An easy trip over the bridge to Newport
What a beautiful home right on the bay in Jamestown. The home is so spacious and has everything you need. The porch was an amazing way to start and end the day. It is also within walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. 10 out of 10!!

Thanks Wendy for the great review it was a pleasure having you. Also thanks for leaving the house spotless and anyone would be lucky to have you as a guest. Please come back and stay with us again.
This is a wonderful home, many bedrooms to choose from. There was everything you could possibly need. We loved to sit out on the back porch with a coffee or cocktail, over looking the bay and watching the sailboats cruise by. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Robert was an exceptional host. He was very gracious and helpful and answered my questions extremely fast. The house was amazing - very large. The house was well equipped. It was in a great location. The porch was amazing. Nice having coffee in the morning and looking at the boats and the water. The weather could’ve cooperated a little bit more, but even so it was a memorable four days. We liked the location in Jamestown, because it was a cute, quaint town with a great restaurant called The Standard. The drive to Newport wasn’t bad at all depending on traffic. We would like to go back and revisit sometime.

Well Karen it was a pleasure having you. Come back anytime we would love to see you again.
We had a group of eight women together, and this house was so perfect! Very clean, extremely well equipped, and what an awesome location. Jamestown is charming and it was such an easy drive into Newport to see the sights! Robert was a great host and responded promptly to any questions I had. I give this house and host an enthusiastic five star rating!!
Everything was perfection! We are 6 ladies, life long friends who get together every year, traveling long distances to see each other. This was our best choice ever!!! The house is lovely, decorated beautifully, clean, and comfortable. The porch was our favorite spot for morning coffee, afternoon tea and evening cocktails! The location is perfect. The host was friendly and always available. Jamestown is a great spot! Close to all the fun things to do in Newport, close to Narragansett (beaches are beautiful), yummy brunch at The Slice (cafe within walking distance of the house). We will be back!!! Thank you!!! Sally and crew
Once again we had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Victorian house. The porch and view of Nararragansett Bay can't be beat. It's a five minute drive to Mackrel Cove Beach and Jamestown has so much to offer. Great for biking, walking, exploring. Bo (the owner) presents a clean and well supplied house and very responsive to any need. Highly recommend.
We had a great week at Bob’s place. The house is in an amazing location, steps to the shops, farmer’s market, and restaurants. The view from the front porch is amazing; we ate all our meals out there. The single indoor shower was a bit of a bottleneck but after a day we learned to love the outdoor shower! And the air conditioners in every bedroom made sure that everyone slept super comfortably.
My family and I enjoyed a couple of wonderful weeks in this large, traditional home. Our hosts were lovely and very responsive. The house was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed. We loved sitting on the big front porch (which has a spectacular view.) The kids loved the big grassy front yard and being close to a calm beach. All good!
I can't even begin to say how much we loved this house! The view and the location were amazing! It had everything you could possibly need. We were a group who graduated high school in 1970. The water taxi was so fun.
The host was the best! The house was clean, and gorgeous. By far the best house we have ever ever stayed in!!

Comfortable property for large group, fantastic views/porch
We had a group of 9 - 3 Moms and 6 college-aged kids for a mini-reunion long weekend. Everyone loved hanging out on the porch and enjoying the view as well as playing corn hole (we brought the game) in the front yard. Rooms/beds were very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals and Newport was super convenient for our adventures. The only thing that was a little surprising is that the second "full" bathroom had only a small clawfoot tub, no shower. One shower for 9 people could be challenging to coordinate. There is an outdoor shower as well, but we visited pre-season so the temps were too cold for us to use that option. Nobody in our group spent a lot of time primping, so it ended up being fine for us.
