OWNER OPERATED. Our condo is perfect for 1 or 2 couples with King and Queen beds and 2 private bathrooms (1 ensuite). It is a spacious end unit with garden views from every window and a peek of the ocean from the huge covered lanai (400 square feet) with dining table and chaise lounge chairs. There is free Wi-Fi; stereo with CD player and blue tooth; 2 hi-definition TVs with cable and a BluRay DVD player. Other amenities: beach chairs, towels and snorkle equipment; washer/dryer; close to the BBQ pavilion, resort pool and 2 Jacuzzi spas. Vista Waikoloa is a secure, gated community with reserved parking just steps from the condo. Better than the Best Waikoloa Beach timeshare, with fully equipped kitchen (condiments, BBQ tools) and beach toys.

Vista Waikoloa is in the Waikoloa Beach Resort:

Great Condo 2-bedroom in Waikoloa

The condo was beautifully furnished, well-equipped with everything that you would need to enjoy your stay. The owner and property manager were very responsive to our requests and inquiries. I would definitely stay here again.

Overall, we loved our time at this really well appointed condo. Patty and Allison were very good at following up. However...we were sent conflicting access codes which caused some anxiety. Not a great way to start our stay. To their credit they corrected the situation quickly. ALSO - it was impossible to sleep-in M -F with the leaf-blowing gardening brigade starting at 7am. What ever happened to rakes! Again, if you’re an early riser, you’ll love, love, love this place! Awesome pool/hot tubs, too...

Wonderful unit

Awesome location. We usually drive to KTA in Waikoloa Village for groceries, and walk to the beach behind Hilton to see the sunset. The view is amazing! Close to many popular beaches, like A-bay, Hapuna, Mauna Kea, Beach 49, Beach 69, Mau'umae. We also use the pool a lot. The main pool is very nice, with a warmer one, and another hot one.

Wonderful Waikoloa condo

We really enjoyed a week+ stay at this Vista Waikoloa condo, which is a great location to reach the many sites and activities on the Big Island. Superb beaches are close by plus it's an easy trek up to Havi, across to Hilo and Volcano, as well as down to Kona's restaurants, shops and coffee! Allison and Patty are terrific hosts and there well appointed condo had everything we needed and then some. It was great having easy access to the pool and BBQ pavilion. The condo was also well stocked for a trip to the beach with chairs, towels, boards, coolers, snorkel gear etc. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit!

Even better than the pictures indicate

We had a wonderful 2 week stay. It was great having the beautiful A-Bay beach in walking distance. We've been on the island for almost 2 months now, and the most sea turtles we've seen (snorkeling and beached for the night) were here. Sunset hikes to the south point of A-Bay were a highlight (watch out for beached sea turtles, there were quite a few). We also enjoyed the designated parking spot, huge wraparound lanai with a peek-a-boo beach view for coffee in the mornings, and the large uncrowded pool; unlike some of the other pools that we've visited, this one had plenty of available seating, with umbrellas and two hot tubs. Rec center for workouts and a business center to print things were also a nice convenience. Wonderful movie theater and shopping are just down the road. Evening strolls through the Hilton property down the street, with its crazy pools, monorail, dolphin quest, and crowds were entertaining. Finally, the condo pictures posted on the website didn't do it justice - when we walked in we were pleasantly surprised that it was even nicer in person. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Well appointed condo

We had a good time at this well appointed Waikaloa Vista condo. We've stayed in the Vista condo's before and found this one to be just lovely. The Waikaloa Vista's offer the best Lanai's in Waikaloa Village Resort (with the possible exception of Kolea which is twice the cost). The Lanai wraps around a corner of the condo and give a large, and along with the glass railing, airy feeling. The comfortable reclining deck chairs are around the corner and out of sight of the large outdoor dining area. If you love the Hawaiian Lanai's like we do you'll love these. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is very well stocked and everything is easy to get to. All in all we very much recommend this condo to 1 or 2 couples or a family of 4-5. The manager Allison was very responsive and completely helpful. We loved out stay.

Great place but...

Great location with all the amenities. Definitely a lot of space with 2 bedrooms/baths. Grill area is great with six grills to choose from. Pool is large with 2 hot tubs...relaxing. Quiet for sure. Only badside was the fact that the A/C was governed at 72. Coming from Alaska that doesn't bode well when trying to get restful sleep. During the day we weren't there because we were exploring the island. Should have the option of changing the temp at night. My only complaint but if you like to sleep in the warmth then this your condo. The owner did cover hotel expenses at the Fairmont up the road due to no maid service on day one. That was nice. Overall very nice.

Its the little things that matter- a great place to stay

This is a wonderful place to stay. Allison the property manager suggested I look at the condo and it was perfect. It is very spacious, and while part of a larger condo complex you really feel like you have plenty of privacy. Our unit was very well appointed. There are lots of additional little things that make it special. The extra beach towels, and swimming/beach equipment , the info on Hawaii and things to do, the helpful suggestions to get food - we went mostly to the gourmet market in Queen's Market, that really was very good. One thing that was especially helpful was the small hand held torch left on the counter as we often would walk to the beach to check out the sunset and then head to Queens Market. By the time we returned it was dark so the torch was a good addition. We used the gym while we were there and it is better than many hotel gyms I have used with a variety of equipment. The wifi was also great, which came in handy as we had a balance of work and holiday during our time. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, location perfect, and condo was very well catered for and nice and clean.

My husband, two boys, and I spent two weeks and the condo was great. Everything we needed for cooking including condiments, oil, spices, and more were provided. Beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, snorkel gear and boogie boards were also provided so didn't have to buy or rent those items. Condo was clean, roomy and comfortable. Lanai was very large and nice to hang out on. I would have no problem staying at this condo again.

Great place to stay near Kona!

This is such a great property in the Kona area. It's in Waikoloa which is beautiful and we'll maintained. The condo is huge! There is a wonderful balcony where we are breakfast every day. I was repeatedly impressed by how well provisioned the place is. Your every need has been thought of by the wonderful owners. Including kitchen supplies, extra towels and bedding, food storage and ocean gear like boogie boards! We enjoyed every minute of our time here and would gladly come again!

I Trust You

Our experience through VRBO with this owner created trust. The booking experience was not as immediate as a hotel booking, but the owner was quite responsive and we confirmed the booking within a day. The information we received prior to leaving our home was complete and adequate because we were provided with all the information to access the property and enter the unit. Inside the unit, we were provided with great information about what to do, where to shop for groceries and how to find items inside the unit. We packed light because there is a washer and dryer, and we used them. The kitchen is fully stocked, but the vent hood over the stove could use a sign to explain how it operates (slide the glass towards yourself). There is information about what to do upon departure and our deposit was refunded within 5 days of our return home. The price matched the value we received!

Vista Waikoloa B201

Marvelous spot. Last minute reservation and I was delighted with the accommodations. Have stayed in many different condos in the islands - this is probably one of the best equipped I have ever experienced. So many tools and options. The lanai is large and lovely. Not as much privacy from other condos looking in, but the ability to shut the sliders is great. The complex pool is the best for lap swimming. Centrally located in the beach resort area for walks, shopping and beach swimming. I would stay here again. Thanks -

we spent 7 nights at Vista Waikoloa B201. We had a delightful and relaxing Big Island expirience. This property has everything you need. It was clean and well-maintained. AC works good (you need it at Waikoloa, especially at summer time). I would recommend it to everyone. Great place.

Pleasant Home Base at Vista Waikoloa

Vista Waikoloa is very well located, convenient to the airport with ready access to excellent shops and restaurants (Kings Shops and Queens Marketplace). Suggest heading to the nearby Waikoloa Village for staples and groceries that are more reasonably priced. Our unit was clean and well-maintained, very comfortable with a kitchen that was more completely 'stocked' than others we have seen elsewhere! Closets were ample, and we had more than enough drawer space. Also, the units on this property have lanais that are much larger than those in similar properties nearby (newer construction gives short shrift to this amenity). We appreciated the clear instructions for 'functioning' in the complex and the pre-arrival information including driving directions from the airport, accessing the grounds, keypad entry codes, etc. What was missing, were instructions for operating the 'media' center in the living room (T.V.). We never did figure that out (didn't bother to ask for help) but were fine with the T.V. in the master bedroom (although a channel guide would have been very helpful). Alison, our property manager was helpful and responsive to all inquiries and a delight to work with. The floor plan devotes plenty of space to the kitchen, living and dining areas, but results in less than adequate set-up for the second bedroom. We were o.k. with that arrangement since we only used it for extra space. It would be a challenge to have a second couple or children in that room since it doesn't afford much privacy and the bathroom, which also serves any guests, is quite small. All-in-all, we were well-pleased with our stay.

Vista Waikoloa No Ka Oi

We had a wonderful stay at Patty & Gerry's condo for a week in October. Great location for walking to A Bay, shopping at two different malls, checking out both the Hilton and Marriott properties, as well as the nearby petroglyphs. Loved that we were able to go to both Hapuna Beach one day and Kaunaoa Beach the next day. Waimea has a great Homestead Farmers Market on Saturday. We got ono salad greens, mac nut/pesto goat cheese, malasadas, flower lei, ti leaf lei. Also the Waikoloa Village Market was a quick 15 minute drive away for other groceries and a great deli! Mahalo to Allison. Very easy to work with.

Amazing rental!

Everything is well thought of at this rental. All of the kitchen items are well stocked, condiments, plastic wrap, etc... The beach items were really nice quality chairs, boogie boards, towels, etc... The unit also came with coolers. The location itself is very quiet. We hardly saw anyone during our entire stay there. The pool is heated and really nice and the BBQ area is very close to the unit. The owners and manager are really on top of everything. I felt like I could email or call the manager at any time. When I did email questions, I was always responded to very quickly and courteously. This unit is 5-10 minutes away from some of the most amazing beaches on this side of the island. Beach 69 was our favorite as well as Mauna Kea Beach. We will definitely be back. Everything could not have been smoother.

The unit is in great shape. The deck is awesome, and was our favorite part of this unit. The unit is quiet and you cannot hear anyone above you. We didn't need to use the air conditioner, breeze was very pleasant plus a nice sound to sleep to. The vegetation gave the unit a more private feeling vs being on the top floor. The beach stuff was in great shape and included a cooler, chairs, boogie boards, and snockling equipment. Location is perfect, lots of easy walking access to beaches, shopping, and restaurants, plus easier access to eastside of island from this location. Owners/Property Managers had effective communications, had no issues because of it. Recieved the damage deposit back 2 days after check out. We would like to come back to this amazing island soon and will look to rent this unit again. Thanks for sharing your home!

A beautiful condo in a gorgeous setting at Waikaloa Vista. Terrific amenities available. Excercise room, computer room, heated pool, generous parking, barbecue area, small library. Excercise and yoga classes available along with the occasional fun evening ie., super bowl party. Close to the beach and the impressive Hilton hotel which is an incredilble museum and fun water park great for kids.
