The villa lies at the heart of Tuscany, between Florence and Arezzo, in a wonderful location with a panoramic view of the medieval castle at Poppi.
Outside there is a private pool (5 x 11m) with interior and exterior lighting, a shower and sun loungers (open from the early to the late season). The villa is very light and enjoys a quiet location, surrounded by a centuries-old oak forest where you can encounter stags and deer or can gather mushrooms, blackberries or olives, depending on the season. The villa is therefore an ideal holiday destination where you can enjoy peace and quiet surrounded by nature. There is a fantastic brick-built and roofed barbecue with lighting, a grill, a wood-burning stove for baking pizza, a sink with drinking water, worktop space, a table and chairs, so you can prepare meals and dine outdoors with a wonderful view of the fabulous valley Valle del Casentino.
The villa dates back to the beginning of the 20th century and has been carefully restored and equipped for a comfortable stay. It can accommodate up to six people and has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, an independent kitchen and two living rooms, totaling 150m² of living space. It is on two floors and has three entrances. The ground floor has a double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with a shower (suitable for the disabled), a tea parlour with a wood-burning stove, a sofa and a desk, a dining room with sofas, satellite TV and a kitchen with a fireplace, dining table for ten people, dishwasher, stove with five rings, extractor fans and a fridge with a freezer compartment. The upper floor has two double bedrooms with a shared bathroom with a shower. The upper floor has direct access to the garden.
The villa is surrounded by nature and is just five minutes from the pilgrimage church at Camaldoli, from the golf course, from the centre of Poppi (one of the most beautiful medieval localities in Italy) and from the Foreste Casentinesi National Park.
The owners welcome their guests with specialities and prepare homemade noodles with a meat sauce for guests once a week. The holiday home is surrounded by a two meter high fence.
