The house was perfect for a 50th reunion with high school friends. Plenty of room to spread out, the grounds are gorgeous and pet friendly! Our host was quick to respond to any questions. The location is convenient, lots of fun things in the area, winery around the corner! Not far from Annapolis, hope to come again soon.

To have this amount of waterfront property to include two small beach areas with a circular walking path to and from the house is truly unique. The sunrises over the Chester River are beautiful. The view of water from all three levels is stunning. Very tranquil. The firepit with an abundance of firewood was enjoyed by all. The house has lots of character, and was well stocked with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Communication with Hal was great from start to finish. Would highly recommend to others.

Supplies were well stocked. The kitchen had everything needed. Sheets and towels provided. Good location and beautiful views of the marsh and bay. Hal was readily available to answer questions. Perfect for our group of 5 ladies.

The property was very picturesque. The host could not have been more accommodating. The children on our trip ( ages 1 to 9) will not forget the experiences boating, fishing, being with family.

This place was wonderful for family get togethers. So incredibly home-y! Beautiful views from every window. The place is better stocked than any home I’ve ever rented and we’ve stayed in over twenty across the USA. Tissues in every room. Can never find tissues in other rentals! Also paper products, foil, every possible cookware and dish available for use. Loads of drawer and closet space if you like to unpack. Beautiful landscaping and waterfront views. Even the driveway was landscaped perfectly. I am a bird watcher / listener and the birds sing their hearts out in the trees surrounding the property. We utilized the kayaks and super wide paddleboard. We put the crab traps out and caught two dozen crabs. We all had fun and spent quality time together. Best rental experience EVER! Host Hal was very responsive to any questions we had too!

This is an excellent setting for my wife's 70th birthday, with three children, their spouses/significant others, and four dogs. The owner was congenial and extremely easy to work with and communicate with. The owner does not understate when saying that the house is well-furnished with what one would need for an extended stay, including spices, cooking oil, storage options, etc. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The porches have beautiful and expansive views of the water, and the beach was so relaxing. the one issue that we had was with the locking mechanism to get in. We are older and our short-term memory is limited. There was a resulting bit of a dance to enter the code in a timely fashion into the lock to open it. It was helpful to have younger people who are digitally quicker. Otherwise, an excellent stay and we look forward to the next time we can stay.

This house was perfect! A gorgeous view and the private beach area was absolutely amazing. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and Hal was the perfect host! He was always helpful, quick to respond and very nice. Will definitely be looking into this house for any future vacations!!

The property was beautiful!! The beach area was so peaceful and already had Adirondack chairs and a table ready for us. It was an area just for the group that didn’t have to be shared with any one. Plus kayaks and life vest! The rooms were nicely made up and plenty of bed for the whole group.We enjoyed our meals together inside and out on the screeded porches which was so enjoyable. The fire pit was nicely made to sit around at night, also chairs were already provided. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for meal time including extra paper towels, tissues, napkins, and kitchen pots, pans, spices and even small things we needed like pens, a lighter, detergent, towels (for inside and out) and extra dog bowl! Being dog friendly was a huge huge huge plus the actual reason why we picked this listing over others! Every one was welcomed.The host answered every question I had quickly! The entries group, kids, adults and dogs all really enjoyed the home and the property!

Love Point did not disappoint! The property had everything advertised and more. Kayaks, paddle boards, crabbing gear, fire pits, a private beach walking trail plenty of seating outside and inside. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked and the extra refrigerator and freezer space came in very handy for our family of 9 adults and 3 doggos… there were plenty of extra pet bowls and it’s nice to see a dog friendly rental. Hal was a great host so easy to communicate with and even let us know one evening that a storm was headed our way just in case we weren’t monitoring the weather. Crabs were plentiful in the lagoon and on the other side of the jetty. And you could spend hours watching the birds, eagles, rabbits, fawns and other wild life on the property. Thanks Hal for allowing us to enjoy the property!

What a beautiful stay at Love Point Idyl!! Our group enjoyed every second making lasting memories together here. The views and the property grounds were beautiful and we especially enjoyed sitting by the fire at night overlooking the bay. The house was clean, functional and Hal really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and accommodated. Location was perfect too- far enough away from the action, but all under a 15 min drive anywhere we wanted to go. Would 100% recommend a stay here!!

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay here. Hal was very responsive and made the check in and out as smooth as possible. He was available for any questions we had and made sure we had the best trip possible. 15 of us and 1 dog stayed here very comfortably, we would definitely return :)

This house and location offered our extended family everything we wanted in a great vacation. The kitchen offered plenty of usable cooking/baking and storage items and even a nice assortment of spices etc. The porches and sunroom were great places to hang out, and had lots of places to sit and relax or play games. The kids loved having their "own area" upstairs!The yard is large and the kids were able to play outside. They all had nets that they used to find critters in the tidal pond and at the beach. They especially liked finding so many horseshoe crab shells.Thanks, Hal for providing such great service to your guests!

My family and friends really enjoyed this beautiful home on Kent Island, just 20 minutes from downtown Annapolis and about 5-10 minutes away from nearby wineries, Food Lion, Target and local restaurants. The property was super private, and had enough beds, bathrooms and space to accommodate all 9 of us comfortably, including our four year old twins. But the best part of the house, was the outdoor space. We had our own private beach stocked with kayaks, life vests, paddle boards, and a fire pit with Adirondack chairs, a walking trail that went through a beautiful marsh, and the nature sightings were endless - we met a resident beaver, osprey, rabbits, and some fish. The home also has two screened in porches which made it perfect to hang out and play games during the day without getting overwhelmed by bugs. The interior and decor is dated but we knew that going in, but it didn't hinder any part of our stay. Our host and owner, Hal, was kind, organized and super responsive during and leading up to our arrival. Definitely consider this property for your next family trip to Annapolis / Kent Island.

The owner is very communicative. The kitchen had everything plus more available to us, including a smores basket! The beach access is perfect for our scientific labs we do in the water. It is all-around a great place for establishing and growing comradery.
