Magical, Serene Retreat
This was our second stay at Singing Waters and we are already planning a third visit next year. We just can't get enough of this special house and land. Everything is perfect!
Singing Waters property offered a wonderful getaway with walking trails., waterfalls and many outside amenties. This is a very unique property that I can't recommend enough. Also, a great location between Duluth and Two Harbors. We enjoyed the artwork and were very comfortable here in the house. We can't wait to go back!

Great property, accomodating owners
We had a great stay at Singing Waters. What a peaceful, secluded guest house! The owners were very accommodating and are available for anything you need (including last minute restaurant recommendations, much appreciated.) The guest house has everything you need, including firewood ready for campfires. My child also enjoyed the scavenger hunt...very nice. Definitely recommended!

So happy to have found Singing Waters
After reading other reviews we were pretty sure Singing Waters would be a fun place to stay but it was even better than we expected. During our 3 night stay we would spend our days hiking in nearby parks but then we'd get to come home to what felt like our own beautiful park with it's pond, picturesque lawns, beautiful surrounding forrest, fire pit, and nearby river. The guest house felt immediately like home - you can tell from the art and creative furnishings throughout the house that a lot of thought and care was put into making the space welcoming for guests. We feel very lucky to have found this VRBO and will be recommending it to all of our friends.
A lovely cabin/house in the woods. Quiet and beautiful surroundings. It was very clean and well kept. Big comfy couch. Cozy beds. We loved sitting on the porch and reading our books.
This is our 4th visit to Singing Waters and it never disappoints. We enjoyed exploring the river and even taking a dip! We loved being cozy on the screened in porch while drinking coffee in the mornings. The wooded trails were not groomed for walking as many trees had fallen during winter so that was a bummer, but the hosts informed us of that in a welcome binder.
We recently enjoyed a few days at the Singing Waters property. My family and i enjoyed the geounds and enjoed time spend exploring Duluth and the surrounding area.
We will definitely be back again!
Cabin was very cute. Waterfall is beautiful. Advertising a swimming hole was a bit misleading. We loved the screened in porch. Great location between Two Harbors and Duluth.
We rented this location for a girl's trip. There were 5 of us in total. The sleeping arrangements were very cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need as was the bathroom. They even had bathroom items available to us in case we forgot something! So many fun activities to keep you outdoors; walking trails, the outdoor cabana, the river, scavenger hunts, bean bags, a bonfire pit and so much more. I could write a novel on all the things I loved about this place. The decorating is so much fun, you will find something new that you hadn't seen before every time you explore. I can't recommend this place enough. See you again next year!
We had an amazing time here. Our kids didn't even want to leave to explore the north shore or go out to eat; they just wanted to stay at Singing Waters. Can't blame them.
We had a lovely time staying at Singing Waters for our first trip to the North Shore area. The house was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 and lots for our kids (ages 7-16) to explore. They loved wandering through the woods on the scavenger hunt! We also enjoyed the fire pit for s'mores on a cool fall night. Stacey and Shellie were great with communication. We will definitely stay here again!
Beautiful views from every window/deck! Loved the sound of the waves crashing. In the morning, I loved sitting on a deck with coffee and a book. Great location close to hiking and Grand Marias.
Our family had such fun staying at Singing Waters and exploring their beautiful outdoor surroundings. The Scavenger Hunt for the kids was a hit! We enjoyed the thoughtful details, like a plate of cookies upon check-in and cozy blankets and comfortable chairs at the firepit. There are so many enjoyable details but I don't want to ruin the fun of surprise!
Our family had an amazing experience and would highly recommend this tucked away gem. The location was perfect in between Duluth and Two Harbors. Within an hour of arriving my kids asked if we could become back again. It is definitely a place I plan to return.
Singing Waters had something for everyone in our family! Our four kids (ages 4-13) enjoyed the trails, the scavenger hunt, and especially loved the swimming hole! We kept busy during the day touring the North Shore, but we were all excited to go back to Singing Waters to explore and relax! This was the perfect getaway for our family! Stacey and Shellie did an amazing job hosting!
We loved stay at singing waters guest house. The place was wonderful. Everything we needed was there. Our kids loved the scavenger hunts, so did us grown ups. The river was so beautiful. The swimming was so much fun. We will definitely stay again when we come to the north shore.
We couldn’t say enough good things about Singing Waters! The accommodations were clear and comfortable. The setting was gorgeous and the location is perfect for exploring the north shore.
An amazing VRBO with its own waterfalls and massive scavenger hunts to complete, split rock light house, gooseberry falls and Duluth. Our entire family loved it and can’t wait to get back up there.
Property was very nice. Had it's own private waterfall & creek to go exploring. Nice hiking trail that was kept up. Kids enjoyed the scavenger hunt too. Very relaxing.
Perfect home base for a running and sightseeing vacation!
Singing Waters is delightful. It is full of art and whimsy and still has all the amenities. The property is packed with fun and challenging activities for all ages and the house is excellent for groups of 4-6. There's space to congregate, but also to be alone if that's your thing. It's close enough to Duluth, Two Harbors and the North Shore that sightseeing and shopping are convenient. The owners are warm, responsive, helpful and interesting to talk to. I've rented a variety of properties and this is the best of the lot!
