Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Beautiful wooded setting on the Knife River. Hand hewn log home crafted by early settlers in the late 1800's. This rustic home will ensure your stay on the North Shore is unforgettable. Enjoy nature trails on the 80 acre property less than 5 miles from historic Two Harbors.
The space
Main level has large kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom. Open log stairs lead to bedrooms upstairs and downstairs. All levels have a bathroom, with showers on the main level and downstairs. Large yard and wooded property is open to exploring for guests. Nature trails lead guests to the Knife River about 300 feet from the log home.

Great Fall Getaway

A beautiful home to stay in with several useful amenities. Convenient location close to Two Harbors, allows easy access for exploring the North Shore, no matter where you might be headed. There are also trails on the property if you choose to stay close and a firepit to enjoy, along with the gorgeous star filled Northwoods sky. Michael was very good at communicating, answering any questions we had before and upon arrival.

Great Northshore Stay

Michael's log home is a great way to experience the North Shore. It's on a beautiful property that backs up to the Knife River. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare meals at home. I would definitely stay here again.
