Our historic home is located in the heart of Aransas Pass, just blocks from Conn Harbor, where you can find some of the best fishing in the area. Our home isn't just for fishermen, though. Families love the location for its proximity to beaches, parks, shopping and more. Located on a large lot, surrounded by lots of old oak trees, we have managed to keep the quaint feel of this 100+ year old house intact, while still remodeling and updating the facilities to give you the perfect blend of old meets new.

My name is John Ousset. I've been married to the love of my life Margaret for 30 years. We have three sons Michael, Colin, and Stephan who attended Texas State University. Margaret and I started an advertising agency back in the early eighties and I am still active in it to this day, but have since eagerly started to pass the torch to the boys. We purchased The Coast House from Margaret's parents when they decided to down size. My boys and I have the best memories of coming down to Aransas Pass to fish with their Grandpa. This home of ours is truly a blessing and we are happy to hopefully share the joy it brings to us to you, your friends, and family.
Why they chose this property
This beautiful coasthouse has been in our family going on 25 years. It has been will continue to be our favorite place to come down to unwind for a long weekend or more. Hopefully it will be for you also. My boys and I are always updating and fixing up this historic treasure of Aransas Pass. Come relax, explore, and make yourself at home. I promise you won't regret it.
What makes this property unique
This home has some of the best memories of our life in it. Whether it was fishing and crabbing with Grandpa at Conn Harbor down the road. Or having a fish fry in the evening after a long day of surf fishing on the island. This home is great for making memories that will be treasured for a lifetime.
