This beautiful apartment is located directly above Göhren’s North Beach in the peaceful park of Villa Granitz, in a prime, central yet quiet location. From the floor-to-ceiling bedroom window, you’ll enjoy a stunning view of the sea. Here, you can romantically watch the sunset over the Baltic Sea from two armchairs. In the summer, the view of the Baltic Sea from the living room’s southeast-facing balcony is partially obscured by the greenery of the trees.
The garden stairs lead directly to the footpath towards the beach promenade.
The modern apartment features a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining area with comfortable armchairs, and a couch.
Thanks to its secluded location in the garden, the apartment is quiet. When you open the bedroom window in the morning, you’ll hear birds chirping from the tall, old trees and the waves of the Baltic Sea.
The bathroom is modern, tiled in white, and features a walk-in shower.
The apartment is equipped with underfloor heating and laminate flooring, guaranteeing cosy warmth after a refreshing swim in the Baltic Sea, a long walk on the beach, or a bike ride.
You can walk about 45 minutes directly from the apartment along the beach to the neighbouring Baltic Sea resort of Baabe—after another 30-minute walk along the beach, you’ll reach the first beach restaurant in Sellin with a great view of the Baltic Sea (4 km total). If, on the other hand, you walk south from the apartment, you’ll reach the south beach via the steep Nordperd—pristine nature with stunning views. By bike, you can explore the entire Mönchsgut region, including the small fishing villages of Thiessow, Zicker, Gager, and much more.
The location is ideal for sun-seeking beachgoers, active hikers, and cyclists who want to leave their cars behind; the apartment’s parking space is right next to the building.
Of course, this also applies to families with children in the summer—no car needed: You can stroll directly from the apartment along the car-free Bernstein Promenade for 5 minutes to the long, wide Göhren main beach, with beach chairs on the pier, and can, for example, take a short break from your beach time at any time—say, to grab lunch or pick up a book— take a short break from the beach to pop back to the apartment as you please, and then head right back to the beach.
The bakery is just a few buildings away; next to it is a larger Rewe supermarket and a local fish market. Shops and restaurants line Strandstraße.
The apartment comes with its own outdoor parking space (No. 51) and access to the bike storage room (included in the rent), as well as a washing machine and dryer (for a fee).
