"Strandhuus 305" Vacation Rental in Heiligenhafen with a Lake View

This modern studio apartment is located on the 3rd floor and features a light-filled living and sleeping area. From there, you can step out onto the south-facing balcony with a great view of the inland lake. The bathroom with a shower and a small kitchenette are located at the back of the apartment. The large closet offers plenty of space for your holiday wardrobe—and a souvenir or two.
The “Strandhuus” is ideally located for a holiday on the north side of the inland lake! The beach is just a few steps away. And in general, the house is a great starting point for everything you might want to do on holiday:
Restaurants, a playground, a skate park, and kiosks are all in the immediate vicinity. A bakery, bike rental, a mini-golf course, and—for the more athletic guests—a fitness centre are also just under 800 metres away. There’s a great hiking trail leading to the cliffs—depending on the season, you might spot Galloway cattle and their calves there.
Our charming old town is about 2 km away—the best way to get there is to stroll along the lakefront promenade right into the heart of the city. With its traditional fishing harbour, numerous shopping options, delicious restaurants, the “Graswarder” nature reserve, the beautiful beach, and the longest pier on the coast, our little harbour town has a whole lot to offer.
You can conveniently park your car in the house’s car park (subject to availability)—and feel free to leave it there. In the summer, in addition to the regular buses, the Heiligenhafen “Bimmelbahn” (tourist train) runs, allowing you to quickly get into town or to the harbour, or you can simply rent a bike from the local bike rental shop. This gives you great flexibility. In general, Heiligenhafen is a great starting point for all kinds of bike tours: you can reach Großenbrode in just over an hour—a bit faster on an e-bike—or enjoy the unique view from the Fehmarnsund Bridge and bike straight to Fehmarn.
