Nice summer house in Arcachon

We (family with two kids) had a nice week in this beautiful and well-equipped summer house in Arcachon, quite near to the beach.

Break in Arcachon

Attractivel villa with all the necessary amenities. The garden is a wonderful feature, it is totally private and we spent every evening sitting outside. It is very close to the town centre and beach which suited us perfectly as we did not want to use the car during our stay. The hosts were delightful and very responsive.

Vacances parfaites !

Nous avons passés de très bonnes vacances dans cette jolie et spacieuse maison. Le quartier est calme mais tout proche de celui de l’aiguillon qui est plus animé et très agréable : restaurants, épicerie fine, boulangeries, cafés. Tout y est à pied. Le centre d’arcachon est également très proche à pied, en vélo ou en voiture. La ville était très animée en cette période de fêtes. Martine et son mari ont été très agréables et de parfaits hôtes. La maison est bien équipée notamment pour les enfants en bas âges (lit parapluie et chaise haute). Je recommande ☺️

Dommage !

Cela avait fort bien commencé, accueil chaleureux, maison et quartier très agréables malgré un contexte particulier puisque à quelques kilomètres de là tout brûlait. Dès le dimanche on avait senti des odeurs de brûlé. Lundi en soirée, deux énormes colonnes de fumée noire sont passées au-dessus de la maison. Le commissariat d'Arcachon m'a dit "avec des enfants en bas âge ( 2 ans et 4 ans) à vous de prendre vos responsabilités". Enfants et petits enfants ont quitté la maison dans la foulée, c'est à dire lundi soir. Je suis partie mardi matin très tôt ; nous sommes restés 2 jours, 2/3 nuits dans cette maison ensuite inoccupée du mardi au samedi. J'aurais apprécié que la propriétair spontanément fasse un geste. (Quelqu'il ait été il aurait été apprécié.) Contactée par mail, elle a refusé au prétexte que nous n'avons pas été évacués. Rien à ajouter puisqu'effectivement juridiquement il n'y a aucune clause. Manque d'élégance. Mais l'élégance n'est-elle pas une affaire d'éducation ?

Superbe maison bien équipée dans le style d’arcachon! Jardin très sympathique avec transats et plancha Les hôtes étaient très accueillants et disponibles. Tout était parfait, on recommande vivement!

Location très agréable

L'atout de la maison c'est indéniablement son espace extérieur, il est très agréable et comme la météo était avec nous nous en avons bien profité... Très bonne communication avec les propriétaires avant la location et lors de la remise des clés. C'était parfait. C'est la ville d'automne donc si vous envisagez de tout faire un pied on est un peu loin du centre ville et de la jetée Thiers mais cela reste très acceptable. Le seul bémol: les équipements de la maison laissent un peu à désirer (vaisselles et électroménager) et mériteraient un petit lifting.
