This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath home located in the very desirable Key Colony Beach, boasts a large open floor plan, private beach access, relaxing tropical vibe, and abundant sunshine!

As an all ground level home, guests are always pleased by its ease of access and freedom to spread out and enjoy all this tropical home and grounds have to offer.

This home also uniquely offers membership to Key Colony's private Inch Beach.

All funds collected are nonrefundable for cancellations within 30 days of arrival.

Having the private pool was the highlight of our stay. It was great to have the kids swim while I laid in the sun and my husband fished off the dock. The kids were in the pool everyday. The beach of the neighborhood is called Inch Beach and probably because it’s a little tight, but beautiful with plenty of shells to collect. We loved our stay and would book again. PS I have high standards and rarely give 5 stars for reference.

Beautiful home, beautiful location

This house had everything we needed and more, well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, private outdoor area and great fishing from the dock. This is by far our favorite rental in Marathon. The rental agency was fantastic to work with. You do have to pick up keys at their office, which is less than 10 minutes away. e are planning our next trip.

The PERFECT vacation rental!

Walking into this home is like walking into a home of your own--everything is immaculate with all the items you may have in your own house. All the "little" things were helpful-like readily available beach towels and throw blankets. Beds were comfortable with higher end sheets and kitchen had everything you would need. We love KCB and this is the BEST home we've stayed in thus far. Location couldn't be more perfect and we will definitely book again!

Best Vacation Rental Ever

House was extremely clean and welcoming. Very nicely furnished with quality comfortable beds and seating. We didn't bring a boat, but if you do, the dock and open water access look to be easily negotiable. We would be more than happy to stay here again if and when we plan another FL keys trip.

Key Colony is a perfect location for all the Keys has to offer. This property was very clean, well stocked and perfect for our week in Marathon. Leslie and her team were very attentive and responsive. Great property with great management. We will stay here again.

Needs maintenance but great kitchen

The kitchen was the redeeming factor in this house. There were plenty of dishes & nice cookware but a lot of the dishes were not clean & there was a broken glass in the cabinet. Mgmt offered to have cleaners come back but we opted to do it ourselves. The check-in process was cumbersome. We were arriving by boat so had to either Uber ($36 round trip) or wait until “5:30-ish” for someone to close the office & bring keys (most places we stay in have keyless entry & this house even had a lockbox But we still had to pick up keys). The water filter in the fridge needed to be changed, the AC filter needed to be changed. The pool had lots of stains & the skimmer was cracked but it was usable. The pool was very warm. There was a chiller on the pool but it did not work either. The ladder from the boat to the dock was not secure (the screws had rusted out that secured the ladder to the dock). This house is on a “deep water canal” and for the most part it was deep enough but the entry from the channel to the canal needed to be dredged (I’m assuming that’s a county or KCB issue but boaters beware).

Thank you for your review. We are disappointed to see you mention broken glass in the kitchen cabinet, since we offered to come and immediately deal with the issue and you declined our offer. All dishes and cookware are cleaned prior to guests arrival. Our Rental Agreement clearly states, "check-in and out are at our office". We are happy to accommodate guests arriving by boat, however, guests following check-in procedures must be checked in first, then we can deliver welcome packets and keys to guests who opt to arrive by boat. Note, we did call you at 4p to let you know we could arrange to deliver your keys early but you had made other arrangements. In addition, you requested to leave the keys at the house upon departure rather than return them to the office, as is our policy. However, it should be noted, you did not leave both sets, you neglected to leave one set of keys. Water and AC filter are changed on a regular schedule. These alerts automatically display on appliances. This is a default setting that does not correlate to when we actually change the filters. Both items were checked upon your departure and found to have been recently changed and in clean condition. We have re-secured the dock ladder. A quick call to the office would have resulted in immediate attention during your stay, as we have a maintenance man on standby to address these issues. Waiting until you depart and leaving maintenance items in a review makes it difficult to correct the situation immediately. To be clear, there is not a "chiller" on the pool, only a heater. So it is not possible you would have seen a chiller advertised. All of Key Colony has really deep water and can easily accommodate a 35+ foot boat to any Key Colony Canal. We were quite surprised by your 3 star review. When we spoke on the Friday prior to your departure, to see how your stay was, you did not mention any of the above items. If you take a look at our past reviews, we do not have anything under 5 stars and all guests have found the home spotless upon arrival.

Amazing Family Property

The property was amazing. Very spacious, clean and plenty of kitchen ware to support cooking needs. The lots of areas to lounge, including the patio, screened in porch and pool. The dock was perfect for our rental boat and very convenient to access the Atlantic or bay side. Close to the marina as well. We would 100% recommend this place to others.

Check in and check out - best experience we’ve ever had. Very nice property and I expect we will return. It is true, the kitchen was awesome, even the frying pans and glass ware were very nice. We rented a boat so the dock, fish cleaning station and bait freezer were perfect. The ONLY disappointment was having to wash the bedding and towels prior to departure only because I don't know that i just others to wash items adequately by washing too large of loads from being in a hurry to meet the 10:00 a.m., check out time. Again, that was seriously the only disappointment.

Perfect getaway

The house was perfect for us. Well equipped. Would have loved to have been able to use the bikes and kayaks at the property, but rentals are easy to come by but a little pricey. We only needed something for the house once and it was delivered ASAP! Leslie the property manager was very friendly and responsive. We would definitely rent this house again. Lots of tropical fish at the dock and easy dockage for the boat. The location was perfect for getting to the Gulf and the Atlantic or just fishing or sun setting in the cut.

Great Time! Beautiful Place!

Everything was excellent. No complaints. The only thing I thought that was odd was if you checked out early you had to put your house keys in a box outside the vacation rental office. The box was not locked, it was just a wooden box that you drop your folder and keys in. We dropped our keys off at 7:30 am and the office does not open till 10:00, which means "anybody" could come by and take the keys and either make copies or go back to our rental and steal whatever they wanted and I would be responsible since there was no proof I dropped off the keys. This certainly did not take away from us having a fantastic time in a beautiful home. The owners spared nothing to detail. You name it...they had it! Very Impressive.

To clarify, we do allow guests who are departing early to leave their keys in our designated dropbox and we retrieve them when we arrive and open the office at 9am. But please note, our key tags use a code to identify the property. No address is ever listed on the key tags. In the invent keys are lost or misplaced the property would never be able to be accessed. This home was truly perfect. Exactly as represented in the pictures- impeccably clean and packed with amenities. Pool was bigger than we thought and the kids spent so much time enjoying it- heads up that there are various pool toys/floats to use in the garage. As well as multiple fishing rods which was a nice bonus- kids caught several snappers and we even saw a nurse shark hanging around the dock. Watching the sunset at the park was so beautiful and we loved the happy hour vibe at Sparkys. Didn’t utilize Inch Beach at all as it wasn’t very swimable for the kids (but we found other beautiful places to swim!). The beds were very comfortable and the plentiful pool/beach towels was great. Not one negative thing I can say about the house- except that we had to leave!

Nothing short of perfect!

My family of 4 enjoyed every minute of our trip and that was largely due to this fantastic house! So clean and spacious. Every amenity needed in a vacation home. Beds were comfy. Pool was divine. Yard was very private and this neighborhood is so quiet. Some may laugh but I thoroughly enjoyed the laundry room. The kids grumbled a little about no tvs being in the guest rooms but they got over it! We would totally stay here again and are already making plans to do so!

Absolutely Perfect!

My family and I stayed here for two weeks in July and the house was awesome! It is a really beautiful home, well appointed with everything you will need, kitchen is fantastic. The private pool is great for the kids and the neighborhood is quiet- we hardly even knew there were neighbors on either side- really feels secluded and relaxing. I have rented homes in Marathon for the last five summers- this is by far the best place we have stayed. I could not recommend this house more to those looking for a wonderful place to stay. Thank you to the owners for letting us share their home this summer!

Stayed for a week with my wife, her sister, and 3 kids (9,9,12). Comfortable and clean. Great for the kids to swim in the pool while the adults relaxed. Short walk to Inch Beach. Kids could walk the neighborhood on their own. Lots of people walking and riding bikes. Would rent again.

Tranquility, Private and close to EVERYTHING!

Highly recommend you stay here, 5 STARS!! We have just spent 5 nights here with friends and we all had an amazing time! We’ve stayed at a number places away from home from Canada, California to North Carolina…this home is truly “the home away from home”. It was the most comfortable, cleanest, well equipped spacious home we’ve stayed at. Quality furniture, quality bedding, tastefully decorated and, the home has a wonderful feel about it. The back is huge, totally private with a good size Florida room, really nice pool and a great dock for fishing. We caught 6 snappers! If you forget your rods, pop into K Mart, stores and great restaurants are all within 10 minutes. Can’t wait to go back!

Can't wait to visit again!

This house is a MUST for all future vacations in the Keys. My family and I spent a week at Sunsplash in late October. We enjoyed the house so much that we barely got out to see the island. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The backyard was fantastic and really private. My boys loved the swimming pool and us adults loved being able to watch them from the Florida room while reading, playing games, or just relaxing. The owners have taken good care of the house...three bedrooms - all with high quality linens and furnishings, two bathrooms - don't miss the master shower that has like a gazillion shower heads, and spacious living/dining/kitchen area. One of our favorite features about this house was the private dock where we spent many hours fishing and watching the local wildlife. If you are quiet, Iggy the iguana will come out to visit! We are already counting the days till we can visit again!
