Wonderful week at the farmhouse
Our family of eight stayed here for a week, and we loved it. The house is spacious and open inside; the interior is beautiful, with just the right touch of "rustic" (i.e., wood trim and hardwood floors). Everything just felt comfortable, and our two "chefs" had more than enough room to work together in the large kitchen. Mary was so accomodating (but inobtrusive): when she found out that more than two of us were interested in biking (there are two bikes available for guests), she immediately tracked down a couple more bikes for us. We were in Boulder for a family wedding, so when we asked Mary if 6-8 additional people could come for dinner the night after the wedding she had no problem with it. Her gracious manner and charm truly helped make our vacation memorable. I

Great week at the farmhouse
Our extended family of 8 was in town for a family wedding/vacation, and our stay at the farm helped make the trip memorable. The house is spacious and beautiful inside, but pleasantly informal and very comfortable. The cooks loved the large kitchen, and we all spent time lounging on the wraparound screened-in porch. Definite country feel while still only 4 miles from the heart of Boulder. Mary was extremely accomadating and helpful, but respectful of our privacy. When she found out that more than two of us had an interest in bicycling (there are two bikes already on the premises), she immediately tracked down two more bikes for us . When we asked her if an additional 6-8 people in town for the wedding could come over for dinner on two nights after the wedding she had no problem with it. Her gracious manner and affable charm really made our visit here special.

Perfect Christmas.
We stayed at the farm for eight days over Christmas, and it was great. From holiday decorations, tree and stockings to fresh eggs, Mary and Hep did everything they could to make the stay great. The farm was super fun. Roosters crowing in AM, and Bella and Blue (farm dogs) greeting you coming and going from property. We really wanted to take Bella home. Great location, close to town, but far enough away for quiet. Amazing fully equipped kitchen with all you need for big dinners with family and large dining room table for long dinners. Great proximity to paths for walking and running too. I could go on, but wont, just visit!

Another amazing Thanksgiving in Colorado at the Naughty Goat Farm
stayed here for 5 nights this past thanksgiving so that we could use the chef's kitchen to serve dinner for 14. My whole family loves this house and location for our dinner! There's plenty of space to seat 14 and Mary has ALL of the things you'd need for a gorgeous meal, including flatware, wine glasses, complete sets of dishes, serving platters, casserole dishes, etc. PLUS, the presence of the chickens, the goal and sheep in the yard playing in the snow, the bull next door dozing under the tree, the guard dogs Bella and Blue...it all makes for an amazing experience. There's a bike path a few feet from the driveway that goes all the way up to Jay road if you want a nice daytime stroll. Just a great location, managed by great people. Can't wait to return again next year, this is becoming a valued location for our family's memories, thank you again!!

Rural setting, but close to downtown
We loved our stay at the farm! Mary has done a great job of creating a warm, welcoming space for visitors. The house is only 15 minutes from downtown, so you get both the solitude of the country setting and the hustle and bustle of the city when you want it. We will definitely recommend this property to others visiting the area.

We live and work on our farm in Boulder, CO. Our family has been a part of the Boulder community for over 50 years, which we continue to cultivate.

Why they chose this property

We love animals and the farm has lots of them...chickens, llama, goat, barn kitties, plus all of the wildlife. We also love flowers and gardening. This is our happy place! We love sharing it with people and watching them light up when discovering it.

What makes this property unique

Peaceful, serene setting with view of flatirons. Best of both worlds, being in the country while only 10 minutes by car from Pearl street and downtown.
