Host was always communicating and making sure everything was okay. The entire stay was amazing and cozy. The view was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking!
The house was comfortable and had all the amenities to make it feel like home. The directions were easy to follow and accurate. I liked the location. It didn’t require a 30 minute gravel road followed by a 20 minute dirt driveway. This was much easier access although it was slightly scary as the entrance is in a very steep nearly blind curve. Traffic was minimal and slow moving so that helped. Thank you for hosting us!
The mountain views were amazing, the common space was perfect for hanging out, the wrap around deck made chillin and star gazing feel extra special. The drawback is the noise from the road - motorcycles like to race the hairpin curve. However, the windows are so good you can’t hear the noise if they are all closed. Thanks for providing us a wonderful place to gather and enjoy family!
Wonderful little cabin in the woods! We really enjoyed our time here & loved visiting Nederland during our stay. House had fun board games & the most beautiful view.
This location exceeded our expectations! Incredible views, a gorgeous property, a cozy fireplace, and the most comfortable beds. The owner was helpful and quick to respond with any questions we had. It was easy for us to get to/from Denver, and we loved how secluded this property was without being super far from the city. Our only regret is not staying longer!
The most amazing views of the mountains right out the door! Pretty much every kitchen and bath item needed was there. Phil is so easy to work with and answers very quickly. I highly recommend this rental!! We had a great time!
Clean, spacious, and well-appointed with a spectacular view.
Also great communication from host.
If you are looking for complete serenity you should know that the road is very close. Otherwise this place is amazing.
From beginning to end everything was easy and fun. The house was sparkling clean and the beds were fresh and very comfortable. The water was hot for showers. We enjoyed the wood burning stove and the games. Above all, the Mountain View’s from the two story porch and living room windows was breathtaking. I would gladly stay here again. Phil was a wonderful host.
This is the perfect spot to unwind, bask in the quiet and clear mountain air, and drink in the fantastic view of the Rocky Mountains. This mountain home is older, but clean and the beds and living space are all super comfortable. Philip is an excellent host and communicator and he was very helpful when we needed it. I’ll look forward to staying here again when I need a quiet retreat space.
This is a large 3 bedroom home, two bedrooms and a bath downstairs, one bedroom and a bath upstairs. The kitchen is well supplied, and the refrigerator is very large. We stayed in the winter, and it heated up pretty quickly, and we did not use the fireplace. Exterior lighting was great for returning after dark. The view to the west is incredible, and I can imagine that during the spring and summer it would be even more beautiful with leaves on the trees. This is a great place to come with family and friends!
Wow, what a great view overlooking the mountains. We spent our free time sitting on the deck and watching the clouds roll through. The house had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Great location close to food, drink and Nederland. We would definitely stay here again.
Great house ! Definitely agree with another reviewer, needs better lights in kitchen, dining room, living room, bedrooms. But, we loved our time here with friends . In the middle of everything we wanted to do, Winter Park, Nederland, Estes Park . Great hikes in the area too.
The view from this house was absolutely amazing and for our trip it was pretty central to all the things we wanted to do. For the most part the house was great just a few things we would recommend is ceiling fans in upstairs bdrm and main part of the house. Also having screens in kitchen window would have been nice so we could open them to help cool off the house during the hot days. Lighting in the kitchen wasn't the best either and the driveway really needs a lot of work, not good for anything other than a truck/SUV/jeep. Overall, this house fit our needs just fine and we really did enjoy the view.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The location was a great home-base for area hiking trails, restaurants, and things-to-do. Nederlands, Boulder, and Golden were all less than an hour away and provided all sorts of vacation opportunities, and the Denver airport was only a hour away. But our favorite thing to do was to sit on the porch and enjoy the view - the pictures do not do it justice! The home was nothing fancy, the driveway was a little rough, and there was road noise at times - but the home was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed, and was perfect for my family. I would highly recommend!
Everything was as advertised. The entire process including check-in and communication with the owner exceded expectations. The property was clean and comfortable. The views were extraordinary and the location was convenient and private.
The best parts about this property are the view and plenty of room for multiple groups to enjoy. The property has a bit of a minimalistic approach to furniture/decor, but you will want to spend most of your time outside anyways. Some appliances/kitchen items have seen their age and could look to be replaced. We stayed in the winter during some decent snowfall and the road is cleared very frequently which made getting in and out relatively easy. Virtually working from the location was easy with a decent internet connection and a great ATT cellular signal.
We rented this cabin for a long weekend. Phil was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the surrounding area. He was very responsive to all of our questions. The cabin was clean and cozy! It was very well maintained and the view is unbeatable. I definitely recommend this cabin if you're staying in the area!
Peak to Peak Mountain Home is really a tad rustic, not as tripped out as luxurious mountain retreats. But the view is great and the accommodations are adequate. It has all the modern conveniences including great Internet and Roku TV, plus laundry facilities, decent kitchen and overall spaciousness. A little bit of spit and polish would really make this place shine.

About the host
Your host
I'm an avid outdoor enthusiast so lucky to live in the mountains of Colorado. If I'm not relaxing at home soaking in the views, you can likely find my wife and I exploring nearby trails and open spaces with our two pups, shredding the local singletrack mountain biking, or trekking up one of the many mountain peaks. The beauty and friendly, relaxed culture of Colorado truly never ceases to amaze me.
