About Sheree Matheson
I am an airline pilot for a major airline. Our main home is in Boulder, Colorado and Kona, Hawaii. We love Summit County and have enjoyed sharing our fabulous Dillon lakefront home with such wonderful guests over the years!
Sheree Matheson purchased this Condo in 1993
Why Sheree Matheson chose Dillon
This is one of the finest scenic views in Colorado. It is right on beautiful Lake Dillon with spectacular views of the Lake and the surrounding snow capped Rockies. Being in the center of seven different ski areas makes it a dream location in the winter. Being right on the lake and the bike path, near the Dillon Marina, Dillon Park and near the Ampitheater makes it a perfect location to enjoy the summer as well.
What makes this Condo unique
This is an ideal location, right on the Lake with panoramic views. The extensive paved bike path passes right in front of us with trails to Keystone, Breck, Frisco, Copper and Vail. This gorgeous upscale mountain rustic condo is also just steps to the Dillon Ampitheater and the Dillon Marina as well as to the village of Dillon with its restaurants and shops.

Great time at the Summit condo despite a few setbacks
Despite a few minor setbacks mentioned at the end of the review, we had a great stay at the Summit condo.
Things we liked:
The furnishings were really nice, and the views are amazing! The views from the master bedroom were so breath taking it was hard to sleep. I’d wake up at 6am and not want to go back to sleep so I could watch the sunrise over the mountains. The condo is centrally located with quick access to Frisco, Keystone, and Breckinridge. Having access to an open space around the condo was a great area for the kids to build snowmen and have snowball fights. The underground parking was a really nice benefit, and has easy access in and out. I really liked how small the complex is because you felt like you were the only ones there and never felt crowded.
Things we didn’t like:
We did have a few minor inconveniences while we were there which is why we deducted 1 star. The lights were not working in the pool area so it was very dark at the entrance and hard to tell if it was open. The fireplace was making a high pitched noise which was hurting our ears so we couldn’t use it unfortunately. On the day we were leaving, the elevators stopped working so we got some extra exercise carrying our luggage down 4 floors. One thing to point out is that none of the interior doors have locks, meaning no locks on any bathroom or bedroom doors. If you are staying with another couple its probably not a big deal but with children you want locks so they aren’t barging in on you while you are in the bathroom/showering/sleeping.
Overall we liked the condo and would stay there again.
Really loved the property! Convenient and easy to access.
Really liked the location, view and property. We would definitely stay here again!
