The ?Bastide Bellevue? is a delightful self-catering bastide, with a swimming pool in a large garden and has beautiful views of the "Dentelles de Montmirail" and the "Mont Ventoux". It is located on the edge of the lovely village of Rasteau, a pretty village renowned for its excellent wines in the heart of the Rhone Valley vineyards. La Bastide benefits from its situation by offering a wonderful expansive view across to the stunning craggy limestone peaks of the Dentelles de Montmirail whilst being at only 500 metres from the village centre where you can find a bakery, grocery, pizzeria, café.

The house is modern and neatly furnished, with colourful and light rooms, all of which boast views over the beautiful Provencal countryside. Adjoining the kitchen is a covered terrace for outdoor dining, with a further dining and sunbathing area to be found by the pool, which is set in a lawned garden.

Stunning view

A very comfortable spacious house with great pool and wonderful views across the valley to Mont Ventoux and les Dentelles. Easy access to lots of interesting places and things to do nearby. Some good cycling even for softies like us. Warm welcome from Michèle andJean-Pierre. We had a great week and will come back again some time.

Wonderful location

Great spot to enjoy the local towns and villages. Rasteau has picturesque views and walks with a small bar, bakery and during our stay in August, a fabulous weekly wine tasting, music and food event in the square. The house is a good size with ample garden, medium size pool and parking for 3 cars. The kitchen was slightly lacking in utensils and the cupboard doors have a nasty case of woodworm. Also, it was very hot during our stay and the small single AC unit on the stairs is not adequate to cool the house at all, especially the bedrooms. However, we had a wonderful holiday and Michele our host was helpful and always on hand.

Insgesamt bin ich etwas enttäuscht, da das Ferienhaus in Rasteau trotz seines Potenzials einige kleine, aber spürbare Mängel aufweist. Die 10-Punkte-Bewertungen, die ich gesehen habe, sind meiner Meinung nach nicht gerechtfertigt. Dennoch ist der Urlaub dank der tollen Lage und der freundlichen Vermieter am Ende empfehlenswert.Das Haus selbst ist groß und hat einen schönen Außenbereich. Die Zimmeraufteilung ist für eine Gruppe gut durchdacht. Es gibt im Erdgeschoss Küche, Ess- und Wohnzimmer, ein Schlafzimmer und eine Toilette mit Zugang zu den Terrassen. Im ersten Stock befinden sich drei weitere Schlafzimmer, ein Badezimmer und eine zusätzliche Toilette.Die Einrichtung ist funktional. Im Bad gibt es eine Dusche, eine Badewanne und ein Waschbecken. Persönlich fand ich den Duschvorhang störend und hätte mir eine Duschwand gewünscht. Die Abdichtungen der Fliesen wirken veraltet. Die Hausaufteilung fand ich insgesamt fantastisch. Auch die Aussicht über die Felder war atemberaubend, auch wenn sie nur vom ersten Stock aus zu sehen war.Es gab einige kleine Mängel wie quietschende Türen, fehlende Lampen und Batterien. Auch die Einfahrt war für unser 5-Meter-Auto schwer zu meistern, aber uns wurde versichert, dass dies behoben wird. Das Grundstück ist sehr privat.Die Vermieter sind unglaublich nett und haben sich mehrmals um die Reinigung des Pools gekümmert. Leider war die Verständigung auf Englisch nicht ausreichend möglich.

dans les petits points négatifs :pas d'étendage mobile ni de sèche-lingeplusieurs ampoules qui ne marchaient pas (notamment sur les tables de nuit)La maison était très froide (car juste ouverte après la saison d'hiver)Sinon, très bel endroit. Jardin sans vis à vis et accueil chaleureux

Excellent séjour au milieu des vignes

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans la propriété de Michelle et Jean-Pierre. La vue sur le mont Ventoux et les dentelles de Montmirail est top. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’accueil des propriétaires, les conseils sur les sorties alentours ainsi que la sortie VTT avec Jean-Pierre. Encore merci pour ce super séjour !
