About Stephen & Kim Welch
We purchased our house, off plan, in 1999 and moved into the property in 2000, when it was completed. We have 4 children and have had many enjoyable holidays over the years, but with our children now growing up, we decided to offer our house for rental during those periods when we would not be in residence. As it is still our holiday home in spain, we hope that you will find it to your liking and that we offer you all of those little extra things that you would find in your own home.
Why Stephen & Kim Welch chose Los Alcazares
We decided to buy in Los Alcazares as we liked the area and the local town, which still maintains a very spanish feel to it and is a very popular holiday location with spanish families, who come to the coast from Murcia and Madrid. We also liked the location of our development, being a short distance from both shops, restaurants and the beach and that the Mar Menor is quite unique and offers very safe bathing for adults and children. It is also warmer than the Med ! We have now been coming back for over 14 years and enjoy it every time, though we have seen many changes. We hope that in years to come, we may be able to spend more time in our house and use it as a base, once we retire.
What makes this House unique
Our house is situated on a secure residential community, with beautiful communal gardens and an excellent pool for all to enjoy. We have one of the best locations on the development, being a corner property facing directly onto the pool. The house has 2 floors plus a roof solarium and has 3 balcony areas, where you can sit out and relax in the sunshine or enjoy a bit of shade ! We are also conveniently located, with the nearest shops and restaurants some 5 minutes walk away and the nearest beach, on the Mar Menor, less than 10 minutes away.
