You are greeted as you walk through the birch trees to the arched timber entrance of Kamp Krieger. You enter the home into a large open living area featuring the kitchen, living area and dining area. As you walk through the home the wood of the timber frame is everywhere from the large beams to the cathedral ceilings on the second floor. The kitchen is a chef's playground complete with all new inlaid appliances and granite counter tops. You won't be roughing it on this kamp stay on the lake! As you stand at the sink preparing dinner you look through the windows to a panoramic view of the lake. The main stone fire fireplace is the centerpiece of the living room area with comfortable down couches surrounding. Relax by the fire after a long day of skiing or on cool summer nights. Have your first cup of coffee in the sun room taking in the morning light shining off the lake. The dining area is large enough for two families to easily gather around. In the sun-room is a second table nearby that easily sits another 5 guests. When this second table is not used for dining it is ideal for board games, or jigsaw puzzles. If it’s two crowded down stairs don’t worry head upstairs to the den with vaulted timber ceilings overlooking the lake.
The Master Bedroom Suite includes its own porch for those early morning coffees. The MB consists of a King bed, Fireplace, walk through closet, full tiled bath with stone sink, multi spray shower. One of the two upstairs bedrooms has a queen size bed and cozy sitting couch. The second family bedroom sleeps 5 with double size bunks and two singles. The bedrooms attach to an upstairs lounge area that has 50' HDTV flat screen. Directly above the lounge is the highest point of the house which has a ladder to yet another sleeping loft area. The loft can accommodate 2 additional adults (but this is where the kids love to sleep!). There is a full bath located directly off the upstairs lounge area on the second floor. The fourth bedroom has another queen bed located on the first floor off the main entrance.
On the first floor you will find the laundry / locker room. Plenty of hanging ski storage along with cubbies to store everyone’s ski gear. After a long day of skiing take off your gear, hang in your own cuby and take care of the laundry all in one area.
The house sits only 18 feet from the water’s edge. Relax in several areas on the lake. Sit around the fire pit during the cool summer evening cooking samors or keeping warm in the winter after ice skating. Have meals out on the patio table inches from the water. Read a book as you stare out on the lake on the lounge chairs. Have drinks under the umbrella on the dock or maybe swing on the chair lift as you watch the kids play ring toss. A sandy play area just in front of the stone wall allows easy access to the lake. The dock is large enough to handle boats up to 25’. The property is on a channel that typically is only traveled by the locals which makes it that much more private. It has a sandy area for swimming and wonderful rocks to swim out to.

The property and home are on a beautiful section of the lake. The lake views were spectacular, the home was very spacious and comforatble with everything needed for a Lake vacation, and the host was very accomodating.
Our Family had a wonderful stay and would rent this property again.
Our daughter and her family a ride to the house before we did. Before we pulled into the driveway, we received the text, “this house is awesome!” The swing in the living room was our granddaughter’s dream.
We were two families getting away to ski Mt. Sunapee for a few days and found Bob's house. It's the perfect house for a family or in our case 3 adults and 6 kids ages 7-14yrs old. Lots of space, very thoughtful floor plan which allowed kids to have their own space away from adults and spaces which allowed us all to congregate to play one of the many board games at the house. The kitchen is ideal for cooking & serving a group, the water pressure in the showers was wonderful, the beds were all comfortable, the house had all the comfortable amenities one could want as well as several personal touches that made it feel extra comfy. The location is about 15 minutes from Mt. Sunapee which was perfect and 15 minutes from an adorable little town with a candy shop, burger spot, ice rink, grocery store and other little gems. We loved our time at Kamp Krieger and hope to return again!
The property layout worked perfectly for our family. The many rooms offered areas to relax with stunning water views. The open kitchen and living room (with huge fireplace) worked well as the gathering place. The window seating area in the kitchen was a fun find.
Kayaking every morning was smooth from the sandy little beach spot. We wooden dock was perfect for morning coffee and Loon spotting. We also were able to bring in our 18’ Thompson Sea Cruiser for leisurely classic wooden boat cruising on Lake Sunapee. The owner Bob gave excellent instructions on navigating the waterway. The boat launch at George’s Mills is a 15 minute by water cruise away.
Can’t say enough how wonderful our stay was and the property is exceptional!
Our group of busy couples, most of whom left their kids behind for the weekend, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Krieger's lake house. We found nooks to relax in, indoors and out. Whether cooking or playing, we found everything we needed. One of our friends hopes we can return next year! Thank you for sharing
We have all stayed at places where the photographs are for nicer than the property itself. This particular property was far nicer than the photographs. It was directly on the water in a beautiful cove where you can boat or a swim with a large dock to tie up whatever lake vehicle you want. The house is fully equipped. There are two large kayaks available. There is plenty of wood for the fireplace. There was really nothing more we could possibly have asked for or wanted in this lovely home and beautiful setting.
We had a great stay at Kamp Kreiger! First of all the location can’t be beat! Directly on Lake Sunapee in a quiet cove with calm water made for way kayaking and paddle boarding. Second, the house was awesome. Big open kitchen and living room with tons of seating made hanging out with family super easy. Lots of cozy nooks as well. A second family room in the second floor is perfect for movie nights! The kids loved the loft and the bunk room on the 2nd floor and the swing in the living room (yes a swing!). Lots of seating outside too, with a fire pit, hammock, and badminton (and another swing!). This place was perfect!
Easy process and excellent communication with owner. House was wonderful and location terrific.

Perfection- even better than we imagined!
We were so lucky to get to spend a few days in the Krieger’s amazing lake house! From the moment we drove up, we knew we were in for a treat. The cozy, friendly feeling when we walked in immediately enveloped us, and we walked into each room oohing and aahing. This lovely home is decorated perfectly, with the ultimate in comfort and unexpected, fun touches. We made muffins every day and enjoyed them in the cool mornings on the porch overlooking the lake. When we returned after kayaking and exploring, we made a fire, which was easy with firewood right there. Tthere was a fun giant Scrabble game and we shared happy family time. At night, we were so comfy in our quilted beds; the master bedroom with fireplace and gorgeous windows looking out at the inlet beyond - so beautiful! I just can’t say enough about this lake house. We have stayed places before that were disappointing but this was a rental that we will never forget and that we hope to return to. As nice as it appears in the pictures, it is even better in person - it’s the feeling you get; you feel instantly relaxed and so lucky just to be there!

Beautiful lake house
We had an amazing stay at Kamp Krieger. The house is perfect. It is spacious and well-designed, and was terrific for our family. The kids loved the bunk room, and the central living space is inviting, spacious and cozy. It was an ideal spot to gather and play games by the fire at the end of the day. The home has wonderful decor and is very well-maintained. Bob is friendly, helpful and responsive and clearly takes great care of the house. We loved our stay and hope to rent this house again. Thank you Bob!

Feels like Home (but better)
Layout is perfect: common areas are spacious w plenty of comfortable seating. Beds are comfy & baths are secluded. Kitchen very well equipped w quality cookware. LOVE the radiant floor heat. Location is private. Only Heaven has a better view. Lots of fun board games & no missing pieces from any of the jigsaw puzzles.

Slice of Heaven
Three siblings with spouses and an 82-year old mother shared this home and everyone agreed it was perfect. The ease and comfort of the house made it feel like home. The amenities and "extras" made the stay stress-free. You'd be challenged to find a more ideal setting than the backyard to enjoy a sunset drink and great company. While touring the area, it truly was our slice of Heaven.

Incredible home!
We had a wonderful stay at Kamp Krieger for a family wedding weekend. There were 11 of us in all, including my 87 year old mother in law, who was quite comfortable in the first floor bedroom with a bathroom adjacent. The house is impeccably decorated and the views are perfection. We did not want to leave. You will adore your stay here!

Amazing, well appointed timber frame home right on the lake!
We love spending time on the lake in the winter and it was great to be back here a third time! Camp Krieger is an awesome spot for all the winter activities: skating, skiing, sledding, snow kiting, snowshoeing, or just hanging out by the fire. Thank you!

Gorgeous Inside & Out!
This house is absolutely beautiful inside and out -- the interior is charming, cozy and upgraded with all amenities a renter could want. The outside can't be beat, with the lake about 10 feet away, a private dock, swings, bbq, porch, etc. We were there in the winter for skiing so didn't enjoy the outdoors this time, but would be fabulous for a summer lake getaway. Everything about this house been carefully thought out and we felt at home right away.
