We had a lovely two nights stay. Sat in the hot tub both nights and had the local Eagles put on a show and even land in the trees next to us. Perfect place for 3 couples to stay. Lots of room and very clean. We will be back for sure
The property was exactly as specified with plenty of room for our family. Loved the setting in the woods - felt like we were at our cabin back home. The hot tub along the creek was so peaceful. Great location - close to everything in Seward. Definitely would stay here again.
Kent & Lisa were wonderful hosts. The home had everything we could have asked for and was within 10 minutes of downtown Seward. The kitchen was very well stocked, the washer and dryer were very efficient, and the kids enjoyed the hot tub. You will NOT be sorry that you booked this location.
Stayed here with family of 8! Property was even prettier in person! Trails behind cabin were like heading into a rain forest! Even a creek thru the forest, and a River out front! Best hidden gem in Seward!

Fantastic cabin in Seward
I threw a surprise party for my friend here and it was a perfect setup and fit. The layout of the cabin is great, and the place was clean and well assembled. The beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms and showers were quite fancy. Hot tub and sauna were very good. I will be looking for another reason to stay here again

Thanks, Tony! I'm glad it worked out well for your group! Lisa
We stayed at the lovely Stoney Creek guest house for 2 nights in June 2025. The place was wonderful for our my family and in-laws and adult children. The decor was beautiful. Tim is a wonderful host. Would definitely recommend, as well as stay again. Our family had an great stay in Seward. After hiking, the hot tub felt great. I enjoyed the property and sitting by the creek. The mountain views were unbelievable. Peaceful, Friendly, Perfect for our group.
Our family of 6 adults and 2 children stayed at the Stoney Creek Guest House. The location was perfect for the activities we had scheduled in Seward: a salmon fishing trip and a cruise In Resurrection Bay. We enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, the beautiful creek and the awesome deck. Bald Eagles flew over our heads the first night we were there. The house is well equipped and the hosts are very responsive. Thank you for a memorable stay!
This unit is very nice. We really enjoyed our stay. We liked the layout and cleanliness of the property. It is somewhat expensive but works out for multiple families. The unit has enough beds to accommodate 2 families. Our kids enjoyed the hot tub and I personally liked the setup. There is a creek next to tub and very peaceful.Only thing is that the toilet is very wobbly in one of the restroom.
There were 2 couples staying, we had plenty of room to eat Sleep and be happy.
Comfortable, host was very accommodating. Town was close by 12 min. to restaurants, bars. Fishing and hardwarstores in case you needed anything. Comfy and cozy, with hot tub and sauna use at the property area.
Well worth the stay and comfort.
The Guest House was perfect for our group of 6. We were in town for 4 days of fishing. The location was great. It was an easy drive to the harbor and restaurants. The house was clean and ready go when we arrived. The hot tub was a life saver after long days of fishing. Highly recommend staying if you arr visiting Seward.
A clean and well-appointed cabin 10 minutes outside of Seward. Check-in was friendly. The cabin was warm, large, and had working WiFi. The highlight was the hot tub facing an Alaskan forest river. All-in-all, a great stay!
Enjoyed 3 wonderful days at this cabin as we took in all that Seward had to offer. The neighborhood was quiet, the cabin was clean and very comfortable for our group of 4 adults and equipped with all we needed. The views were great especially along the creek bed. We would definitely stay in this cabin again if we’re lucky enough to visit Alaska again.
This rental was a beautiful surprise. It is larger than we expected, with two levels of bedrooms, washer and dryer, spacious family room and great deck overlooking the mountains. The hot tub was a huge bonus as was the creek loaded with salmon. It was close to town and SO MUCH BETTER than renting hotel rooms!
We had a great time in Alaska. This property had plenty of room for our group of 8. Right across from a creek where we saw lots of eagles. Location was great; just a short drive to Seward. We would stay here again.
I was first time in Alaska and I will recommend this place to stay in Seward. It's best place nice and cozy very clean house hot tub and sauna. We love it.
Great place to stay with lots of family. Lots of room for everyone and a nice place to be . The only thing is we thought the hot tub was attached to the cabin and it’s not . So remember to bring shoes you can wear to and from the hot tub
My family and I had a wonderful time at the guest house. Stoney Creek Lodge is located about 6 miles out of Seward. The scenery is spectacular and it's only about 2 miles to the Exit Glacier turn off. The accommodations were extremely clean and well stocked with everything we needed. There is a nice hot tub not far from the house that over looks a creek which made for a relaxing evening after a day in Seward. The layout is perfect for a large group (we had 5 adults and 2 children). Two bedrooms that share a bath are on the main floor. Up a short flight of stairs is the living room and kitchen/dining area with an outside deck. Downstairs is another bedroom and bathroom plus the utility room. All of the bedrooms were large with storage. We hope to return on our next Alaska vacation.
