Location:
At the beautiful Blue Bay Resort (plantation Blaauw) there are two apartment buildings within walking distance of the beach: Triple Tree Resort, consisting of the Pool Building and the Golf Building. The secure complex is well situated on the 18-hole golf course, close to Hato airport, a large supermarket and a few minutes by car from Willemstad. At the resort there are also various freshwater swimming pools, tennis courts, fitness, diving school, bikini shop, restaurants, bars, playground, etc. The whole is beautifully landscaped with beautiful tropical flora and fauna.

General:
The Triple Tree (The Hill) apartment is located in the complex, completed at the end of 2010, consisting of a total of 48 units, divided into 1 and 2-bedroom apartments. Apartment The Hill 10 is located on the first floor of the Pool building, with a beautiful view of the golf course, swimming pool and the sea. The pool building has several elevator installations. The apartment is fully furnished and fully equipped. The apartment includes an extensive inventory from cutlery to ironing board and from lamps to furniture. There are air conditioners and fans which make the apartment nice and cool and it makes sleeping pleasant. There are two TVs with TDS receivers in the apartment and there are many channels to watch.

Layout:
Everything is on the ground floor, 1 master bedroom with a box spring, a large walk-in closet and an adjoining spacious bathroom, separate toilet, storage room with washing machine connection, living room with open kitchen.
The spacious living room can be enlarged through a sliding door to the spacious covered porch, where a table and 2 lounge chairs are located.

The fully equipped open kitchen is equipped with all appliances and has a beautiful cilantro counter top with stools. There is also a large generous American fridge / freezer.

Love that it’s main floor pool side. The apt could use a spruce up re: paint and floor cleaning. The furniture is a bit worn but we put towels over the furniture to sit. Desiree was great to work with. Would definitely stay again.

Blue Bay apartment stay Curaçao

Nice setting, very nice beach, apartment was clean and spacious. I would not consider this a two bedroom. It is one bedroom with a couch in the living room area, but it does have 2 bathrooms( 1full and one 2 piece). The unit is situated at the pool level. The kitchen is adequately equipped, no microwave. Jan was very welcoming and helpful, very apologetic that our wifi was not working properly and easily contacted if needed. The property is gated with security guards at the entrance .

Great location

The Blue Bay Resort area has all you could want near by from beach, restaurants to golf. The resort is a short drive to anything you want on the island. The suite is on the ground floor right next to the pool which is very handy. The suite is starting to show it's age and could use some updating but still usable. We had an issue with the air conditioning and Jan was on it and had it fixed the next morning. There is some electrical issues in the kitchen & living area that was pointed out to us when we arrived but wasn't dealt with during our stay. There is only 2 wall mounted lights and a lamp which made it somewhat dark in the evenings for cooking or reading. All in all though we had an awesome time and would come back to the area again.

Spacious, clean, comfortable Blue Bay apartment.

Very nice, spacious apartment! Ground floor with patio at edge of pool. Complete with full kitchen, big fridge, stove top, microwave. It also had washer/dryer combo and dishwasher but didn't use either of them. The separate bedroom had walk in closet with hangers and shelving. Nice shower. Two A/C units with separate controls worked well. Easy walk down hill to resort restaurants and nice beach. Good snorkeling right there. Also did a shore dive scuba day with the dive shop located there. Got by a few days without car but best to have a one. Easy parking, near unit, no fee. Queries always received reply in time but responses were a bit slow. Plenty of towels but you will need to supply your own wash cloth and soap/body wash.

Excellent vacation retreat

We loved the location and the unit. The unit was clean and set up perfectly for two people. It was quite and adjacent to the nice large communal pool. The private beach was great, lots of shade with a nice restaurant. The whole Blue Bay resort is absolutely gorgeous and very safe. Check in and out process was seamless. Thank you for the wonderful time we had! Hope to be back soon.

Great place to stay

Excellent place to stay on a well maintained, safely gated resort. The well equipped apartment is on walking distance from very nice beach on the resort. Beach passes for beach access and free sun beds included. Furniture was a bit worn and we understood that renovation is planned. It was not a problem for us. Nice pool literally 2 steps from the patio. Flexible and responsive property manager. Be cautious of the mosquitos which can be abundant and aggressive. Luckily we had taken good precautions. The Blue Bay resort is very nice and well maintained. The only improvement I wish for is the efficiency of the security at the resort entry. It is a manual process and the back up can be significant and can cause significant waiting time at rush hour.

Peaceful and Relaxing

This is our second visit to Blue Bay Golf Resort and we stayed for 5 weeks at this one bedroom apartment. The accommodations are clean and comfortable and includes passes to the beach where we spent much of our time. The king size bed is firm, and was good for us. The dive shop on site is very handy and offers kayaks, diving, snorkel and fishing trips. The best feature about Curacao is the shore diving and snorkelling right off of the beaches, including Blue Bay Beach. We could always find a lounger in the shade or under a palapa on the beach, although there were a few days it was busy, some cruise ship passengers spend the day there. The WiFi is an added bonus, the air conditioning works well and we appreciate having the simply equiped but adequate full kitchen to cook our own meals. Most people prefer to rent a car in Curacao, we did for part our vacation, but we also used the inexpensive local bus system and walked. There is a good grocery store 2 km from the resort. You will need to supply all food items including salt and pepper as there is none supplied in any of the apartments. There are many beaches to explore, swim and dive at in Cuaraco which require a car to access. The manager was very responsive the few times we had to contact him and the owner is very helpful. The Sunset Restaurant has a nice salad bar, good food and is a nice evening out. There are many young families and couples at this resort. It is good value for the money in Curacao and an quieter alternative other busy more touristy areas like Jan Thiel for beach access.
