A wonderful holiday home

We had a great holiday. The house is very comfortable and well equipped in a great location. We all enjoyed the swimming pool and were thrilled that the children aged 3 and 5 made great progress in learning to swim. The wonderful sandy beach is within easy walking distance

Ideal location, easy walking distance to the beach and village. The pool was fantastic. The outside space was great but we could have done with more shade, it’s nearly all in full sun all day. The house was well equipped and the layout good for sharing families. There were no plastic dinking cups, plates or bowls for kids which wasn’t ideal.

Excellent week at a superb location on Ile de Re

Family of 10 including grandparents and 4 grandchildren (7-10 years old) all thought this was a wonderful property. The location is magnificent, right close by the beach. Clean, comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Sylvie was a great help getting us acquainted with all the features. Really liked the awnings and the sea breezes helped keep us cool. Just a wonderful time.

Great house for a bigger group, right at the beach

The house was bigger then expected, lot’s of privacy with a big terrace and pool area! It’s very suitable for more families (we stayed with 4, 3 and 2, which was perfect, could even fit 3 more kids). We’ve had a very nice stay, allthough the outside area could use some extra care (cleaning up and renovation, but most important: electricity that didn’t work 😳). Would highly recommand though because of the overall feeling and the location at the beach and close to town (and check out the beach bar)!

Wonderful location. A fabulous beach with big waves and warm water just outside the door. A daily market within walking distance. Several good restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful patio with flowering shrubs. The unheated pool was a bit cool and the pool cleaning robot wasn't working, but the kids loved playing in it on all the sunny days. The house was roomy and comfortable. There were a few maintenance issues that needed improvement, which we have notified the owners about. We were surprised to find there were no basic supplies for our use, like dish soap, a few laundry pods, toilet paper, toilet cleaner, or salt and pepper. They don't come in small quantities at the store, so we had to cart home a lot of extra stuff. But all in all, a good spot for a family vacation.

Lovely villa in a fantastic location

The villa is in a great location - so close to the beach, beach bar, and the village centre with an excellent daily market.The villa itself was perfect for our group of ten. All the bedrooms have their own patio doors opening onto either a small terrace or the main terrace and have plenty of storage. The bedrooms being split between two separate areas off the main living area works well for two families (master bedroom, double room and bunkroom in one group and a double bedroom and twin room in another). The kitchen is very well equipped, with plenty of storage and a nice big fridge freezer.The pool seemed bigger than it looks in the pictures and we spent many hours in it and around it! It was great to be able to keep the bikes and beach stuff in the secure ‘garage’ and there is plenty of parking on the street for cars.The only downside was that it could do with a bit of maintenance in places, but we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others or book again.

Wir (2 Familien/10 Personen) hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Le Bois Plage en Ré! Die Lage des Hauses ist ideal, nur einen kurzen Weg vom Strand entfernt. Zum Einkaufen auf dem Markt oder Essen gehen sind es nur wenige Gehminuten. Der Pool hat eine sehr schöne Größe. Im Haus könnten ein paar Details verbessert werden. Aufhängungsmöglichkeiten für Handtücher, eine Garderobe und eine richtige Kaffeemaschine fehlen. Sylvie war als Ansprechpartnerin vor Ort immer verfügbar und hat sich um unsere Anliegen während des Urlaubs gekümmert, das war sehr schön. In der Hausbeschreibung war angegeben, dass Handtücher gestellt werden, damit war lediglich 1 Handtuch pro Person gemeint (wir hatten mit mind. 2 Handtüchern pro Person gerechnet, wie z.B. in Hotels üblich. Dies sollte in der Anzeige besser beschrieben werden). Alles in allem waren wir sehr gerne da und kommen bestimmt wieder auf die Ile de Ré zurück!

Nos vacances en famille au printemps

Avons passé un t bon séjour dans la maison très bien équipée, avons bcp apprécié une salle de bain pour chaque chambre adulte ainsi que la disposition des pièces.Nous avons juste regretté que la piscine ne soit pas chauffée car à cette période (avril) nous n’avons pas pu en profiter.

Ein schöner Familienurlaub

Wir haben den Urlaub in diesem großen Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Die Aufteilung der Räume ist ideal um mit mehreren Familien/Haushalten einen gemeinsamen Urlaub zu verbringen - es gibt drei Bäder, vier (Eltern-)Schlafzimmer und ein Kinderzimmer mit Stockbetten. Das Herzstück der Wohnung ist das große Wohn- und Esszimmer mit einem großen Tisch, an dem wir mit 10 Personen bequem essen konnten. Das Highlight der Kinder war natürlich der hauseigene Pool - gerade, wenn es am Strand sehr voll war, konnte man sich zu Hause im Wasser vergnügen. Auch auf der Terrasse steht ein großer Tisch und auch ein Grill steht zur Verfügung, so dass man herrlich draußen essen kann. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet (bis auf Geschirrhandtücher, die fehlten). Alles in allem ein schönes Objekt, das ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen ist und ein paar Abnutzungsspuren aufweist (defekte, abgeklebte Lichtschalter zum Beispiel), was dem Charme des Hauses jedoch kaum einen Abbruch tut. Der kurze Weg zum Strand und die Parkplätze direkt vor dem Haus sind auch ideal. Wir können das Objekt weiterempfehlen.
