"We received a warm welcome from the owners. The little house was modern and comfortable. We spent our days on the beach, and the evenings in the beautiful garden were most relaxing. The house is quite near to the main villa, but during our two weeks we had very nice neighbours. We would certainly return to the house again."

Enjoyable stay in small holiday cottage
We stayed for 4 warm days (max 30, min 25 celcius) early October. The cottage has one good bedroom with airconditioning, but the living/kitchen is rather small. We would not recommend the house for more than 2 guests. The kitchen is a bit basic (eg. only one wine glass) , but why cook yourself with so many great places to eat out in nearby Noto? Nice garden, quiet and well maintained, but the private terrace is rather small and has limited views.
Two downsides: the shower cabin is very small (80x80 cm), and there were many cats and kittens wandering around the house, begging for foor and attention.
Lido di Noto was very quiet (end of season we guess) with a nice east-facing beach for an early morning swim.
We enjoyed our stay!
Noto is easy to reach because it is along the highway ME-CT-SR and it is near Catania airport.
You can arrive both taking the highway A18 MESSINA-CATANIA-SIRACUSA or A19 PALERMO-CATANIA-SIRACUSA, exsit Noto - Lido di Noto.
Noto is considered the "Capital of the Baroque," and is described as a lost paradise, a “treasure”, a gold-toned stone garden, a living book, the emblem of wealth in the Baroque age in Sicily.. It’s impossible to think about a visit in Sicily without admiring its masterpieces, recently declared humanity heritage by UNESCO. A stay in Noto will allow you to visit the wild south-western side of Sicily and its incredible cultural and natural treasures. You can enjoy the most beautiful beaches of the island, for example Eloro (ask people for directions if you want to find it, there are no markings!), Marchesa beach, or Cala Mosca inside the natural reserve of Vendicari. Spare your time also to visit the several baroque villages in the nearby, among which Modica, Ragusa Ibla, Scicli, besides Ortigia (the old Siracusa) and its Greek Theatre, Ispica Caves, Cava Grande del Cassibile, and many many others
Do not miss the famous and suggestive "Infiorata", a picturesque festival to welcome the Spring, which takes place every third Sunday of May, since 1980. Local artists work nightime to prepare colourful real flowers carpets all over the streets, every year with a different theme. The whole week is animated by concerts, exhibitions and festivals.
In the south - eastern corner of Sicily there is the province of Syracuse, one of the most appreciated areas where tourists can enjoy both the awe-inspiring heights and lave-flows of Mt Etna, and trendy villages like Taormina, Caltagirone and Piazza Armerina.
If you are an food lover, you shouldn’t miss Sicilian food: fish, meat, sweets (
