A place to call home.

We spent eight nights in this wonderful grand old house and enjoyed every minute. It is a very clean and spacious house that is full of rustic charm and beauty. A home that has modern comforts without losing its historic character. Secure parking and you are well positioned to explore the area and the fascinating little town. The house is solid stone and double glazed so is cool and quiet. Every need is catered for by a well organised and gracious owner. Whether you are enjoying the sun on the terrace or the tranquility of the cool shaded garden, you will wish you could stay longer. So take a glass in hand and go through the garden, drop your feet in the river and watch all your cares flow away. Nous avons passé huit nuits dans cette merveilleuse vieille maison grande et nous avons apprécié chaque minute. Il est une maison très propre et spacieuse qui est plein de charme et de beauté rustique. Une maison qui a tout le confort moderne sans perdre son caractère historique. Un parking sécurisé et vous êtes bien placé pour explorer la région et la petite ville fascinante. La maison est en pierre solide et double vitrage, donc est cool et calme. Chaque besoin est pris en charge par un propriétaire bien organisé et gracieux. Que vous appréciez le soleil sur la terrasse ou la tranquillité de la fraîcheur jardin ombragé, vous souhaitez vous pouvez rester plus longtemps. Alors, prenez un verre à la main et de passer par le jardin, déposez vos pieds dans la rivière et regarder tous vos soucis écoulent.

"Our stay in this beautif...

"Our stay in this beautiful town was fabulous. The house is in a great location, close to shops and restaurants. The townsfolk are cheerful and polite and very receptive to "foreigners". The house is very well equipped,comfortable and clean and we felt very much at home during our stay. We cannot speak highly enough of our accommodation and strongly recommend this villa to anyone interested in staying in L'Isle-Sur-La_Sorgue"

"Three of us stayed at Ch...

"Three of us stayed at Christophe's house and we would definitely stay again. We were meant to be five but unfortunately two were unable to come. However, the house would have easily accommodated at least six adults in comfort. The rooms were large, airy, comfortable, light-filled. Both the kitchen and the bathrooms were excellent. The position was brilliant. We walked into the town every day; in fact we were basically in the town but the noise levels were low. The courtyard was absolutely delightful and we spent time there with our wine and cheeses as well as in the sunshine on the balcony. The owners were really friendly and helpful without being intrusive.Truly, a great place to stay".

Living in the center of Isle sur la Sorgue

Although this apartment is in an old industrial building dating back more than a hundred years, it is very comfortable with a fabulous location literally in the heart of la Sorgue. Dozens of the best restaurants are within a less than ten minute walk as is a large grocery store. The apartment has two bedrooms and loft bed with three bathrooms, one ensuite. It was quiet in spite of being in town. The outdoor areas need a lawn upgrade but the back area has a creek-like portion of river flowing by.

Happy in ISLS

Beautiful home with outdoor space and secure/private on-site parking. Cross the road and we were in the middle of town. Roads easily marked and lovely drives to all the beautiful places of which ISLS is one! A truly wonderful 10 days in a lovely surround. PS the boulangerie a few steps away is excellent and it's impossible to run out of restaurants! Sunday is a don't miss for the amazing market! There were 4 adults in our group.

Agréable maison - fraîche et ombragée- spacieuse - emplacement parking 2 suv - centre à pied - très bonne boulangerie à 250m Attention, la maison n’est pas adaptée aux familles avec très jeunes enfants : accès ouvert aux escaliers.

Historical property in Provence

The location of the property is ideal for walking into town and having close access to many restaurants and shops. It has private parking which also makes travel to all the local beauty easy. The accomodation is large and roomy and has everything one needs for self catering. It is a very old property with a very interesting history which is well worth exploring. The owner was very helpful in pointing out places of interest and any other information required. It is not luxorious but weloved its rural charm.

Wonderful vacation in Provence

L'Isle sur la Sorgue was an excellent base for our 10 day visit to Provence and Maison de L'Isle proved to be a most attractive and comfortable home during our stay. The kitchen facilities were more than adequate and there was ample dining accommodations including a lovely shaded , private garden. Restaurants and shops were just a few steps away. Access to roads leading to towns and villages in the region was very convenient and there was secure parking for two, perhaps three, cars.

Supper Mega

Sehr schönes renoviertes Haus mit allem in der Küche was man braucht, 3 wunderschönen Badezimmern. Und vorallem SEHR SAUBER! Ganz feine liebe Nachbarn. Supper Lage, im Zentrum, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Habe die näächste Reise schon dorthin gebucht!

très belle maison

Très bien accueilli par Sandra . Nous avons passés un très bon séjour en famille , la maison est conforme à la description , elle est encore mieux en vrai, spacieuse et bien aménagée. En centre ville donc très pratique mais un peut de bruit de circulation quand on est dans le jardin. Ceci reste très raisonnable car entouré de grands murs en pierres. Le jardin est très agréable et bien ombragé, mais vous serez attendus par nos amis les MOUSTIQUES ! Merci à Christophe qui est plein d'attentions pour ses locataires.

Wonderful Position

We recently stayed here for a month and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The house is very well equipped, clean and wonderfully positioned to explore L'isle-sur-la-Sorgue. It is literally one minutes walk from the main street of town. Such a great position! It was also good to have somewhere to park the car securely off the street. Christophe was very helpful with all our arrangements for the rental. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Bel endroit et super séjour

Très agréable maison à 2 minutes à pied du centre de l'Ille sur la Sorgues. Maison calme et accueillante, spacieuse et surtout très propre. Merci au propriétaire pour la petite attention d'arrivée (bouteille et produit locaux pour dégustation). Situation privilégiée pour visiter de nombreux sites et villages remarquables. Nous conseillons vivement.

Super séjour

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine à l Isle sur Sorgue. La maison est encore plus grande que ne le laissent imaginer les photos. Nous étions 7 dont 5 ados/enfants de 10 à 16 ans. Chacun avait son espace ! Les 3 filles au dernier étage étaient comme dans un appartement indépendant avec leur mezzanine et SDB. Peu de conflits donc ;) Des amis qui louaient à 5 mm de là sont venus partager nos dîners car il y a une Grande table dans le jardin auprès du BBQ et dans la salle à manger. Avons aimé la proximité des mag Un seul regret : la température de la Sorgue. Grrrrrr ;)

très beau séjour

gite hors norme , avec une ambiance envoutante, en plein centre de l'isle sur sorgue; tout se fait à pieds; petit bémol sur l'équipement de la cuisine pour les passionnés de cuisine. C'était notre 2° séjour , vivement le 3°!

Vraiment très bien

Après avoir passé un mois dans cette belle maison, on ne peut qu'ajouter nos voix au concert d'éloges déjà mentionnés. Nous étions 4 adultes et nous avons pu apprécier les dimensions de ses pièces permettant à chacun d'être à l'aise et confortable. Sa situation à distance de marche du centre d'activité et son parking privé sont des atouts à ne pas négliger, ainsi que la facilité de rayonner dans toute la région. Bref, une adresse à conserver. Location très agréable

Cette maison est vraiment très belle et très agréable. Très spacieuse, avec des coins pour chacun, elle a été très bien restaurée et décorée par les propriétaires. Les jardins sont bien agréables l'été, tout comme la proximité avec le centre de la ville. A recommander sans hésiter !

Maison très spacieuse

L accueil par le propriétaire était très sympathique, merci pour la bouteille de vin et les delices du luberon ! Tout de suite nous nous sommes sentis a l aise dans cette belle maison très spacieuse et confortable, un peu comme dans une maison de famille. Nous avons apprécie de prendre un verre au bord de la Sorgue qui coule au fond du jardin. J ai particulièrement aime prendre les repas au son de la fontaine qu il y a egalement dans le jardin. Nous connaissions déjà cette jolie ville et la région. Aussi c est toujours très agréable d y retourner.

Un séjour à l'Isles sur la Sorgue topissime

Partis pour une semaine de moto à la découverte du Vaucluse, nous avons été très satisfaits du gîte pour ses prestations et sa localisation. Le centre ville et le fameux marché de l'isles sur la sorgue sont accessibles à pied...il y a juste à traverser la rue :-) Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié la disponibilité et la gentillesse du propriétaire. Le gîte est bien équipé et très grand. Cela permet d'y loger au moins à 6 en préservant l'espace de chacun. La petite cour avant accueille sans problème les motos ou une voiture. L'arrière cour vous permettra de faire un barbecue entre amis accompagné du doux ruissellement de la fontaine (très pratique pour garder les boissons au frais....) Si nous sommes amenés à revenir dans la région, il est certain que nous serions heureux de pouvoir relouer cette maison.

A recommander sans hésitation

Une maison calme, idéalement située à quelques pas de la vieille ville. Les plus gros atouts : des équipements complets, irréprochables, de très bonne qualité, avec une mention particulière pour l'excellente literie ; des pièces spacieuses avec de très grands volumes ; un très beau jardin intérieur, ombragé et plein de fraîcheur; un accueil simple et chaleureux de la part des propriétaires. Bref, tout est réuni pour un séjour parfait. A recommander sans réserve !
