A beautiful house in a charming location, with excellent beaches and walks nearby

We (a family of four with two 17 and 15 year old children) spent two lovely weeks in this beautiful apartment in the charming mountain village Rogliano. Jacques and Marie France, the hosts, and their daughter are extremely nice and helpful and the house is great, decorated with a lot of attention to detail (the owners, who live in the same house, are very talented artists, which is reflected by the design and furnishing of the apartment - one of the most beautiful and inspiring places where we have stayed). The apartment is very well equipped and the old house with its thick stone walls makes it pleasantly cold in the Corsican heat. There are very nice beaches (especially Tamarone - great for snorkeling) and lovely walks nearby, although August is a bit hot for walking in the middle of the day. Cape Corse is great if you like unspoilt nature and beautiful old villages, not to forget the excellent food (we ate a lot of Corsican seafood, cheese and sausages and did some extensive wine tasting). You do need a car and shouldn't be afraid of small windy roads, but it's not worse than many places in the Alps. All in all we had an amazing holiday and would love to return - perhaps next time in May or September so that we can do more walking.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt wunderschön in den korsischen Bergen über Macinaggio, und alles ist vortrefflich für Feriengäste eingerichtet, ob es die ruhige, kühle Lage am Hang, die perfekt ausgestattete Küche oder die liebevolle Einrichtung der Wohn- und Schlafzimmer betrifft, mit Keramiken aus der Hand des Gastgebers und großflächigen Gobelins.Mittwochs und freitags kommt ein kleiner Markstand mit Obst und Gemüse an das Casa Cumuna, nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Dort kann man auch einen Kaffee mit wunderbarem Blick auf das Meer genießen.

Abbiano passato 8 giorni a casa di Marie ed è stata davvero una bellissima vacanza. L'appartamento è pulito e ben attrezzato per la cucina e per le camere. Casa tipicamente corsa, ha un gusto unico che sa di antiche tradizioni. Il check in a cura dei genitori di Marie è stato speciale, ci hanno accolto con dolcezza, con grande attenzione alle spiegazioni delle regole della casa e alle indicazioni su spiagge e mercati. Sono rimasti a disposizione per tutto il soggiorno in caso di necessità. La posizione dell'appartamento è ottima per visitare sia la costa est che quella ovest del Cap Corse. Porteremo questo posto nel cuore e chissà riusciremo a tornarci.

Die Unterkunft liegt am Rand des Ortes Rogliano im Ortsteil Olivo. Die Vermieter, besonders Jaques, von hier nochmal herzliche Grüße, ist herzlich, freundlich und gibt alle verfügbaren Tipps für die Erkundung der nächsten Umgebumg. Eine tolle, sehr historische, Unferkunft mit allen notwendigen Hilfsmitteln von Küche bis Schlafgelegenheiten. Die Umgebung am Cap Corse ist sehr sehenswert mit vielen schönen Eindrücken. Es war eine sehr gute Entscheidung, gerne wieder…..zu empfehlen ist ein kleineres Fahrzeug aufgrund der besonderen Parkplatzsituation und der Anfahrt der verschiedenen sehenswerten Ziele…..Lohnt sich, dieses Ziel und diese Unterkunft kennenzulernen!

Le couple Bichat, prioritaire de cette très ancienne maison restaurée par Monsieur Bichat lui-mémé pendant des dizaines est la merveille. Décorée avec amour, d'un style unique. Très bon accueil dans une magnifique maison.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour à Rogliane. La maison est confortable et décorée avec goût. Mr et Mme Bichat sont très sympathiques, on a reçu un très bon accueil. La maison est située dans les hauteurs et il y a une très belle vue sur la mer et les îles. Le village est aussi agréable avec par exemple son lavoir à côté duquel on peut prendre de l'eau potable.

10 wunderschöne Tage

Wir (2 Erw. und 2 Kinder 17/21) haben 10 tolle Tage im September 20 in Rogliano verbracht. Die FeWo entspricht genau der Beschreibung und es fehlt an nichts. Das liebe Vermieterehepaar hat uns wertvolle Tipps gegeben, ein absolutes Highlight ist der Strand von Barcaggio, in 30 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Die Lage der Wohnung ist zur Erkundung des Cap Corse bestens geeignet. Der Ort Macinaggio ist auch wunderschön (10 Min. mit dem Auto). Kurz: mit vollem Herzen kommen wir wieder und stimmen mit den anderen Bewertungen voll und ganz überein. Vielen Dank! 10 jours formidables Endroit magnifique, maison très confortable et restaurée avec beaucoup de goût, propriétaires très chaleureux et acceuillants. Gîte confortable au Cap Corse

Quel endroit magnifique que le Cap Corse. Depuis le gîte, la vue sur la baie est superbe, le village est tellement beau ! En voiture, les plages et Macinaggio sont à 15 mn. Balades à pieds, café associatif et lavoir féerique. Nous y avons passé 3 semaines. Le gîte est confortable, très bien équipé et très bien décoré. Il ne manque rien. Nos charmants hôtes nous ont parfaitement accompagnés pendant de séjour (coins retirés à découvrir...). Le calme du Cap permet aussi de passer des vacances en retrait de la foule en cette période de crise sanitaire. Merveilleuses vacances dont nous garderons un souvenir impérissable. Vielen Dank für das schöne Apartment in Olivo, Rogliano. Wir hatten sehr schöne Ferien. Die Vermieter waren sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend. Im Dorf konnte man direkt Quellwasser abfüllen. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Viele Grüße P+J+S+L

Urlaub auf der Insel der Schönheit

Wir haben zwei wunderschöne Wochen in diesem typisch französischen Haus, mitten in einem kleinen Bergdorf, verbracht. Das Haus ist großzügig, verfügt über eine sehr gute Ausstattung und ist mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen. Schon am frühen Morgen kann man den Sonnenaufgang auf der Terrasse genießen. Überhaupt ist auch der Norden Korsikas eine Reise wert. Die Landschaft hier überzeugt durch ihre vielen Facetten. Die Gastgeber Marie und Jaques sind sehr aufmerksam und bei Bedarf immer für ein paar gute Ausflugstipps bereit.

Toller Urlaub am Cap Corse

Wir, (2 Erw. und 2 Kinder) haben zwei tolle Wochen (August 2018) in Rogliano verbracht. Die FeWo entsprach genau der Beschreibung und die Terrasse war größer als gedacht bzw. auf dem Foto dargestellt. Das liebe Vermieterehepaar hat uns tolle Strände empfohlen und kulturelle Tipps gegeben. Die Lage der Wohnung ist sehr gut zur Erkundung des Cap Corse geeignet. Wir haben viel gesehen und auch Ausflüge bis nach Corte unternommen. Als Autofahrer sollte man alledings eher unerschrocken sein. Wir empfehlen zusätzlich die Mitnahme von Anti-Mücken-Mitteln, die zumindest bei unserem Aufenthalt hilfreich gewesen wären. Insgesamt waren wir mit der Wohnung sehr zufrieden und werden bestimmt einmal wiederkommen.

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus in wunderschönem Dörfchen mit netten Vermietern

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Urlaub verbracht und uns in das Haus und den Ort verliebt. Das Haus aus dem 17. Jahrhundert ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und sehr praktisch und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es fehlt nichts. Von der Terrasse hat man einen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer. Der Strand und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Das Vermieterehepaar wohnt selbst im Haus , ist sehr nett und versorgt bei Bedarf mit Tipps. Wir waren begeistert und kommen wieder!

Lovely place

We loved this quiet tranquil place. The owners were lovely and welcoming and the village was very pretty. It was nice to be in a place with beautiful views of the mountains and the sea. The house had everything you needed and it was lovely to cook with the doors open and the sun shining.Jacques is a very talented sculptor and artist and his wife is a potter. We fell in love with the Cape Corsica, and it is certainly what will also arrive at you!

Why they chose this property

The rents allow us to maintain the house which is a beautiful building but which asks for a lot of work. You so participate in the preservation of a family heritage(holdings) which we build for almost 60 years!

What makes this property unique

The house is furnished with furniture of wooden family; you will sleep there well because walls are thick and remain fresh in summer, which is typical traditional houses Corsica. The size of staircases enters the rez of put and the first floor is impressive; walking are stone natural, of good ones height for the children. The village offers numerous small walks through alleys with points of view on the sea magnificent.
If necessary, you will find on the spot the possibility of a great baby-sitting for your romantic exits!
