Clean, well presented, loads of fresh towels, comfy beds... I slept so well every night of my stay. It was nice to have the driveway to park so close to the front door.
Excellent position and facilities- under Birmingham airport flight path which didn't bother us too much but would upset some people.

Owners communication was great. Their instructions were clear and made entry a breeze. House was clean and was a fantastic alternative to being couped up in a hotel. House is directly below the flightpath to Birmingham airport, so their is a fair bit of boise from 6am till about 11pm. Its not awful, but just be aware of it if you would be bothered by that.
my work colleagues state that it was very well equipped and very comfortable. It was not far from the hospital that they were working on, so the location was also excellent.
Easy booking and communication with owner, near to nec. Second year booking will book again

Birmingham Games Visit
A lot of loud aircraft noise well into night and early mornings. property is on final approach path to Birmingham Airport. Lea Hall Station was a 25 minute walk through a rather unpleasant estate. Only 2 buses a day from nearest stop. 15 minute walk to frequent bus services.
Utilising Lea Hall station was very convenient for leaving a vehicle in the car park for free for the day whilst attending the NEC for an event. Likewise, going into the City in the opposite direction the next day for a canal ride and lunch out saved any navigation and parking problems.
The house was perfectly adequate and quite roomy and having a garden and parking for two vehicles was a bonus. However, none of us had anticipated being on the flight path for the airport which was a tad distracting and noisy!
Communication with the Owners was very good, which was helpful when it came to an issue with paying the balance through VRBO, whom I found very unhelpful indeed. Consequently we won’t be using VRBO in the future!

Super clean, lovely house with lots of nice, thoughtful touches like toiletries, takeaway menus and milk in the fridge on arrival. The kitchen was really well-stocked. The weather was bad so we didn’t use the garden but it looked lovely and had some nice furniture in. Nice to have the conservatory too. Good amount of space so great if you were staying for longer than a few days. Great to have a driveway to park the cars on. Quiet location and very private.

Got say the whole process was very good with no hitches. Excellent communication with owner and house was pristine and very comfortable. House was well equipped and wifi was good so allowed contact with work etc. No nonsense check in process, ample parking in a quite cul de sac, very close to airport/NEC and shops etc. Nice walks locally in park/woods. Definitely would recommend and would have no hesitation in using the house again in the future.
it is a very well kept and nice property with friendly neighbors, including ample of parking in the drive way and a good sized garden for relaxing evenings. it is very close to the airport and to shopping malls. the only thing i could have loved more is bigger cooking pots :) highly recommended

Lovely home away from home with everything you need
We loved staying in this comfortable home. There was nothing we could wish for. Comfortable beds, lovely towels and every kitchen tool and appliance. The house was spotless and we loved extra touches like shampoo and milk to save us packing. We were visiting the NEC and found the station a short distance away with free parking. 100/100 - we will be back again. Thanks to our lovely hosts!

lovely relaxing space to stay
This property is a real "home from home". Five adults stayed here for 2 nights and it was very comfortable. Arrival is easy and the owners are great with communication and instructions.
Location is handy for us as it's near family but would be equally well placed for airport and/or NEC. This is our 2nd visit and would def stay again.
Enough parking for 2 cars which is a bonus

smart & comfy stay
If you need a base for a NEC trade show, this is the place. Comfortable and sleeps up to 5. Exceptionally clean and well presented. Parking for a couple of cars, house located in quiet cul de sac.
Try the Hickory Grill if you want to eat out, its about 5 minutes away by car.

Fantastic stay home from home
Just returned from a fabulous weekend at this house. We booked this house as correspondence / response from the owners was great from the start. Quick to answer questions / queries. The listing description was accurate. The folder with maps re nearest shops, Drs, etc and how the equipment worked was appreciated. House clean and tidy on arrival - looked very welcoming. Thanks for the milk in the fridge. A welcome cup of tea after a long journey. Everything we needed to cook etc was available in the kitchen. Barbecue was available but we didn't have time to make use of this. Wifi appreciated by teenage boys. Lots of nice little touches which came in really useful i.e. towels, handwash, tea bags etc. We will definitely be booking this house when we are next in the area and would recommend to my friends. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Cozy, clean and welcoming home from home!
We had a wonderful time staying at the house for 2 weeks. Everything was exactly how it was described in words and in the photos, we felt at home and comfortable! The owners communication and attention to detail was over and above. We have recommended the property to our family and friends too. Thank you also for the delicious box of biscuits, we all enjoyed eating them and it was a welcoming touch.
