Great location, beautiful condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was not my original booking, but Garden City Rental went above my expectations to accommodate my needs. Just a few weeks before vacation I was notified my original units elevator would be out of service for the week of our stay. GCR found me Boston Commons 202 and we could not of be more pleased with how GCR handled everything. This unit had everything we needed, in a great location, easy access to the beach, beautiful grounds. Condo was decorated beautifully, had everything you could possibly need, beds were comfortable, might look small but plenty of space. The only negative was the pool being underneath bldg. Wouldn't be bad if the water was heated. Even in Aug the water was extremely cold. Overall GCR was wonderful to work with. And Boston Commons 202 is 4.5 stars 🌟

Great condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice condo, very clean, great location. We did have an issue of getting locked out of our condo, somehow the code to the door got changed. I had to call the emergency line (it was 930 at night) and the maintenance guy tried to fix it remotely but had to come to the condo and corrected the issue. The same night our air conditioning quit working and he had to come back and got our air working. John was the maintenance guy and he was so nice and did not act aggravated he had to come back. Another annoying thing is that you can hear every footstep on the floor above, it is annoying when children are running around at 6 in the morning.

Clean & Everything You Could Need!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice & clean upon arrival. All beds were comfortable, with all the necessary linens. Kitchen was fully equipped with all pots/pans/utensils & even 2 coffee pots, toaster, etc. Love the view from the living room picture window! Balcony can be accessed from living room & main bedroom. Loved falling asleep & waking up to the sound of ocean waves. Love the large walk in shower! Lots of seating in the living room area & large dining room table & bar stools at bar. Our a/c went out on Sunday night, I called first thing Monday morning & the repair man was out ASAP & got it fixed right away. The only other thing I would mention for future tenants, the parking under the building is tight. Especially for 202, since the a/c units are taking up some of this parking spot (you can not pull all the way up). If someone happens to park in the spot behind you, you will NOT be able to get out. We were in a normal size SUV. No other issues or complaints at all. The elevator was so nice, since we had a lot of luggage to get to our room from the car. Pam & Neal's is always a great fun place to hang out & have drinks & listen to karaoke. Crocodile Rocks Dueling Pianos (21+ only) at Broadway is always a good time as well! We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 5 relaxed and enjoyed a beautiful beach week. The view of the beach was amazing. We appreciated the short walk to the lightly populated family beach. The condo is nicely decorated and equipped with all the essentials. We ate out in Murrells Inlet 3 times and walked to a restaurant at the Surfside Pier. The AC did go out but that was fixed quickly.

Awesome week

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Awesome view. Some sand on island in kitchen and floor. But its the beach. No big deal. Confusion with extra parking space. Just have 3 extra passes, not 1 per apartment. First come, first serve. A/C crapped out on Thursday night. Maintenance there lightning fast to fix issue.

Great place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were pleasantly surprised with how clean and nicely decorated the condo was. We especially loved how small the building was, the private pool, and convenient access to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked, beds comfortable and the showers had great water pressure and no issues with staying hot. Allocated parking spot under the building is tricky to get into with an SUV so we ended up parking in one of the free spaces through the week without any issues. It would have been nice if an umbrella and some chairs were provided for the beach. We did find some beach toys in the unit. The listing said that there was a jetted tub and stereo system in the unit but there is not, this wasn’t a problem for us though. There also is no full length mirror which would have been nice. One thing to note is that the railing on the balcony does not seem very secure so we didn’t allow the kids out there much. We absolutely loved the family friendly location and the beach was not overly crowded. Check in/out was very easy, we liked that we didn’t have to pick up keys anywhere. We would definitely recommend and plan to stay again in the future.

It started around 0630-0700 and did not end until well after 10 pm. I called and was told a call would be made to the company renting the unit. That was on Monday, the jumping continued all week.

Pretty Much Perfect!

Also, the heavy-footed neighbors in the condo above us. They stayed up past 1 and were up early the next morning. Unfortunately, this perfect location unit is one star away from total perfection!

Not a good experience

Crews blocked parking and debris was everywhere. Pool dirty from debris. Scaffolding built that blocked view of ocean from balcony. Condo not really clean. Found moldy coffee left in coffee pot. Patio carpeting needs replacing. It is old and dirty. Water leakage from unit above condo, caused ceiling in the two bed guestroom to collapse and water on floor and into bedroom. Unable to use closet for several days.Have rented this condo on several occasions and never had any problems. This vacation was not very enjoyable. Although received a 10% refund this did not in any way alleviate my disappointment on this vacation. None of the other rental units were occupied all week due to the construction. No sure why Unit 202 was rented due to the construction.Had problems with the elevator on and off during the entire stay. There were times during the day that the elevator was not working at all, including the evening we arrived. Had to leave our bags, etc. in the car until the next day as I am 76 years old and unable to go up and down stairs very well due to severe knee problems. My knee problems are the reason I always try to rent the condo at Boston Commons for the convenience of the elevator.I will rent again but will make sure that the condo is ready for renters and that the complex is not undergoing renovations which should have been taken care of in the off season.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful condo, but of you're looking for a peaceful relaxing place this is not it. I know it's not the owners fault that they are below a 6 bedroom condo that you can hear everything, but it ruined our vacation. Said something to the people above about the noise because management said that's not their property and they are sorry, but it didn't matter. The next thing was parking very, very tight. If you have a truck do not think you're going to fit in the assigned parking spot. As for the condo itself very nice, perfect location, but again if you want to not get up at 4a.m. do not stay here.

Fantastic vacation

It was clean the beds were very comfortable and the reclining chair was wonderful. The location was perfect close to restaurants and shopping. The only drawback would be the balcony furniture needs updating. We would definitely stay here again.

Girl's Week at Boston Commons 202

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very happy with our vacation rental The beds were comfortable which is very important for a group of 7 women. The new looking bathrooms were clean and attractive. We appreciated all of the drawers in the vanities. The kitchen was stocked with a plentiful amount of dishes, cookware, silverware and utensils. Everything was clean. The dining and living room had nice furniture and more than enough seating. The framed pictures in the DR and LR were faded and dated. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and looking out the large window at the ocean. We loved having the elevator and shaded pool. We already booked for next year! The pool and parking areas could be better maintained.
