About this property

1 Bedroom Gem! Many upgrades-Top Floor with vaulted ceilings. Extra Murphy Bed

Our condo is a ~5 minute walk to the lifts and gondolas. It is a stones throw away from all the action within River Run Village, but that 1 block or so provides some buffer to the noise and excitement when you want to relax or have quiet time in the unit.

As the owner of the condo, I manage all bookings, pricing, and contracts. After a booking is reserved, I pass guest information onto property management support Summit County Mountain Retreats (SCMR) who does a fantastic job ensuring your check-in process is seamless and is available 24-7 to assist with any issues to address any maintenance needs.

- Top floor unit with Vaulted ceilings; no neighbors above to make noise

- DVD's and boardgames conveniently available for those days/nights you want to stay in
- Full kitchen stocked with cookware, flatware, and utensils

Building Features:
The building amenities at Expedition Station are one of the best in all of Keystone including steam room, hot tub, heated pool, workout room, and heated underground parking year round. We are one of two buildings in River Run Village with exclusive private pool. Most buildings in River Run Village all share a common pool and underground parking areas. Building also boasts one of the best lobbies in Keystone with gorgeous brick fireplace, pool table, and plenty of comfortable places to lounge with a laptop or sit with a cocktail and catch a game on the large flat screen.

Remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Summit County Mountain Retreats (SCMR) is my local property manager who will provide clear and simple check-in instructions. Electronic key cards provide access to unit and all building areas.
SCMR will text/email you detailed and simple instruction. Pick up keys at SCMR en route to condo (0.7 mi away). Usually takes 1 minute. Shuttle companies will stop for you if not driving.
Upon check-out, simply leave keys on kitchen counter.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Located in River Run, a neighbourhood in Keystone, this condo is next to a golf course. Keystone Ski Resort and Arapahoe Basin Ski Area are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those in the mood for shopping can visit Main Street. It is an easy walk to the Gondola...... The heated garage parking is awesome... ski locker for Skis... Building is Quiet and well maintained. Great place for a ski vacation. Internet is reliable.

Perfect weeklong getaway spot

Spent a week with my wife and son in March. Location is perfect about a 5-10 minute walk to the main gondola. Building has the best pool/hot tub setup I've ever used. Unit was clean and check-in process was smooth and easy (it was quite annoying that they charged $ for early check-in, but it is what it is). Great unit, great location, price was fair, will stay again.

Perfect location for a Keystone village getaway!

Property was within a few minute walk of the main gondola. The underground parking was a plus, along with the ski lockers, pool/hot tub and all of the fun the Keystone village has to offer. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to make meals when we didn't eat out. Thanks for a fantastic time!

Needs some more updating, i.e. the dishwasher. Beds were comfy. Not sure if this unit shared a hot water heater with others, and I get wanting to conserve natural resources, but after 2 quick showers, you're outta luck.

Really Great Amenities

We’ve stayed in many condos and most skimp on the convenances (entertainment, outlets, kitchen supplies, etc.) This owner took care to make sure that everything we’d need was there, including power strips, USB charges, easy to use cable and streaming services, fireplace, cooking, supplies, humidifier, extra bedding, etc..) The unit is nice!

Overall good trip.

Location to restaurants and skiing was excellent. Will not be staying at that same building again though. A leak to a main pipeline was lead to no hot water for a night and no baseboard heating for a few days. Fire alarm went off the last day making us all evacuate in the cold. Fireplace also stopped working the last day. I do appreciate the owner being prompt about calling maintenance and also stating that we would be receiving a credit due to all the issues.

I do apologize to Sophie for the building inconveniences. Building issues are not common and unfortunately more than 1 occurred during guest stay. Not to downplay the compounding inconveniences during stay, though I wish guest would have notified 24-7 maintenance or my myself promptly on baseboard heating issue (remnant of the hot water repair) as heaters simply needed a thermostat adjustments to reset the system.

Perfect location, easy walk to the gondola & Keystone Village area. Appreciated the hot tub/pool and comfy bed after long day on the slopes. Underground garage made for easy unpacking/packing. Condo was well stocked for any cooking needs although the coffee pot has seen better days, a few cabinets/drawers were in need of repair as well but not a hinderance to our terrific ski escape, will definitely look forward to staying here again! Condo was a great location to walk to the gondola for skiing. It was just my husband and myself but had plenty of room. We did not use the Murphy bed I. The living room but did check it out and the mattress seemed like it was comfortable. The only thing that surprised me was that there were two showers and two vanities in separate bathrooms but only 1 shared toilet room. Not an issue for us but with more people may be an issue. We would stay here again. Everyone was easy to work with and accommodating.

Nice place right in the Riverrun village. Short walk to gondola

We were a party of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). We enjoyed our stay in this place. Beds were comfy. Kitchen is a bit small but well equipped. In the clubhouse there was a steam room, and an outdoor heated pool as well as hot tub. For the size of the building they could have had two hot tubs instead of one - it was busy at times. It is right at by the skating ring for the Riverrun village and just walking distance to all ski and après ski activities. Would stay again.

Very cute condo! Location to slopes is awesome. Floor plan was spacious for the design. Top floor high ceilings aided in the spacious feeling. Super clean unit! Lower level under the building parking was warm and made loading and unloading easier.

Wonderful updated condo

Great location, about a 5-6 minute walk to gondola area. Place is new looking and nicely decorated, kitchen is nice with ample amount of dishes and utensils. Dining/living area is a bit cozy but Murphy bed worked great for the kids. The double shower areas were a nice touch but with only one toilet a bit of a stretch for 5 people. That being said this place is very functional while still being very comfortable.

My wife and I grew up in Chicago suburbs and attended the University of Illinois. We met shortly after college while I was living Denver. We spent 7 years in downtown Denver and then moved to beautiful Summit County / Keystone area summer of 2013. Just 2.5 years later in late 2015, we unfortunately moved away from Summit County due to a career transfer.

Why they chose this property

I always dreamed of owning a condo in Summit County for weekend get-a-ways while living the city life in Denver. I wasn't able to make this happen until I was living living in Summit County as a full-time resident. The timing was right for a purchase, so I went for it. I intend to hold onto our lovely condo for a long time to come so our family can enjoy time here for generations to come.

What makes this property unique

We searched far and wide within Keystone River Run area and was immediately attracted to our condo as it is a top floor unit and the Expedition Station was one of our favorite buildings!

The top floor unit is a feature providing for TALL ceilings making every room feel bigger and more open. Plus, there is no potential for noisy neighbors above your head.

The upgrades and changes to our unit makes our condo very unique compared to most units within River Run having original furniture, white walls, carpeted floors.

Expedition Station is a well maintained building with top-rated ammenities, excellent lobby/lounge area, and private pool and parking.
