Luminous apartment, confortable fornished, with a great view; coloured and decorated rooms in nineteenth century style.
On one side of the apartment windows over a characteristic and sunny, medioeval small square, with the XII th century church of "Canonica" and a nice traditional coffeee; on the other side delightful view of the valley.

Tuscan Getaway

Absolutely perfect 7 day stay in beautiful Colle de Val D Elsa . Apartment is very well appointed with absolutely everything you would need to make your stay perfect. This stop was part of a 9 week holiday so we appreciated the ability to cook and the apartment has everything you would need. Comfortable lounges and beds . Maura the host was incredible with communication from check-in to ensuring we were warm enough when the weather turned unseasonably cool. Parking in secure garage but not next to apartment as you are located in old city. Easy to get to though and you can bring your car in for luggage drop off and to bring shopping etc. Beautiful scenery from the lounge room you will not be disappointed.

A real home away from home

My husband and I stayed in Maura's lovely apartment for nearly five weeks. Maura is very kind and helpful and has thought of everything to make the apartment comfortable and welcoming. She even provides free, secure, undercover parking (though for anyone with mobility issues, be warned, there's a climb up to the old town from the parking and you can only ever park outside the apartment itself with a permit that Maura organises and then only for a few minutes to unload luggage or groceries. This would be pretty standard though for any old hill town). Colle itself provides a great base for exploring Tuscany, being more or less right in the centre. It's also great because it's not as touristy as many other hill towns. We loved our stay there. Thank you again Maura.

"This apartment was the nicest place we have stayed during our stays in Italy. It was very clean, beautifully appointed and contained all that we required. It is very conveniently located to all the major centres which meant we were able to do and see so much during our stay. Maura is a delightful host and she provided us with lots of local infomation which we found very helpful. Thanks again, Maura. Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans cet appartement de caractère et superbement bien équipé. Maura est une hôtesse très attentionnée et de plus maîtrisant parfaitement le français .La situation de Colle di val d’Elsa permet de sillonner facilement la Toscane. Appartement très spacieux et très propre dans un quartier calme . Merci à Maura pour son accueil très chaleureux Nous recommandons sans hésitation cette location

Elegance and charm in Tuscany

We stayed in Maura's apartment for two weeks and we could have stayed longer! The apartment was spotlessly clean and has everything required for a comfortable visit. It is in an historic apartment building but fully upgraded and beautifully decorated in classic Tuscan style, and has glorious views. Maura sorted private parking for our car, a short walk downhill, easy enough for us and we are a couple of seniors! Having a car allowed us to travel to other hill towns in Tuscany with ease. Most of all, Maura is an excellent host. She provided very useful advice about the local area and its attractions. Our stay in this apartment in Colle di Val d'Elsa was outstanding and our experience was both welcoming and authentic. We highly recommend.
