Bueu is part of the Comarca del Morrazo, bordered to the south by the city of Cangas, to the east by Marín and Moaña, and to the west by the Aldán estuary. To the north of the town lies the Pontevedra estuary, where the island of Ons is located, which is part of the Atlantic Islands National Park.
