Take advantage of the beach at your back door and enjoy this stunning vacation condominium with spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico, located on Longboat Key- an extraordinary 11 mile barrier island along the coast of Sarasota, Florida.

Our beautiful 7th floor condo has two spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms in the highly sought after Islander Club and provides you with full Gulf views from every room! The outdoor patio is the length of the entire condominium and ideal for enjoying outdoor dining, warm Gulf breezes and the most unforgettable sunsets. From the 85 foot balcony, enjoy panoramic views that include downtown Sarasota all the way to Siesta Key.

The living room combines with the dining area to provide an expansive open living space, including a pull out sofa for guests. Fall asleep listening to the mesmerizing sound of the surf from the spacious master suite which includes a king sized bed, large walk-in closet and private bath. The spacious and bright guest bedroom offers one queen and one twin bed, plenty of closet space and stunning beach and water views.

Situated on the south end of the Key, the Islander Club is just steps from the water's edge. Location, location, location! 4 miles from St. Armand's Circle, directly across from the Long Boat Key Club Golf Course and walking distance to the new Publix and CVS. During the day, utilize private beach access to swim in the Gulf or to fish off the pier. You can also enjoy lounging on the grand waterfront patio which offers a beautiful swimming pool. Your stay includes access to spectacular amenities at the Islander Club including an Olympic-sized heated pool, sauna, Har Tru tennis courts, library, billiard room, recreation room, Gulf front fitness room, secured lobby and on-site management.

This barrier island is filled with beaches, boating, water sports, tennis, and two championship golf courses located at the Longboat Key Club. The Islander is conveniently near St. Armand's Circle and downtown Sarasota where you will find an abundance of upscale shops, fine dining and attractions, including museums, art galleries, entertainment and cultural activities.

Furnishings

The unit was stocked with the basics but needs additional items: More silverware, more dinnerware, Keurig coffee maker (we bought one of our own and left it in the unit). The mattress in the master bedroom needs replacement.

Calling all snowbirds

Wow, what a place. Longboat Kay and more specifically, the Islander Club is perfectly situated to enjoy everything in the best part of Florida. First off, the condo was unbelievable, southern views of the endless beach, highlighted by the gorgeous ocean. What a way to live! Huge balcony to relax after strolling the beach and floating in the pool. The pier right out in front makes for great fishing. Each time out to explore we found one great place after another, Holmes Beach, Anna Maria Island, and Siesta Key. Majestic stay to get me through the winter!

Great Location on the Beach at Longboat Key

Since I had rented this place for Jan and Feb 2015, sight unseen, I was a bit nervous about what awaited me. Happy to report that it exceeded my expectations. It is roomy and well furnished with a beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico from every room. A spacious patio runs the length of the condo and can be accessed from every room. Permanent residents of the building are a pleasant and friendly lot. The managers Bob and Sally are competent and helpful. The location is excellent, being within walking distance of Publix the only grocery store on the key, which happens to be next to an excellent restaurant named Amore. St Armand's Circle on Lido Key is only 4 miles away and is an easy bike ride, drive or bus ride. I often walked to the Circle and took the bus back. If one is unfamiliar with beaches in this area, it should be noted that they are some of the most beautiful in the world. In fact, just last month, Siesta Key beach (located immediately south of Lido Key) was ranked the best beach in the country by TripAdvisor. The building has a beautiful pool overlooking the beach. A well equipped gym overlooks the pool. It is a perfect place for couples or for families with children of all ages. Caroline Pedigo, the lady who handled my rental is super courteous and promptly responds to all enquiries and requests. I recommend this condo and the building without reservation.

One of only a few LBK Condo buildings that are close enough to walk to the grocery store! Located Mid key so close only 4 miles to St. Armand's Circle and 11 miles to Anna Maria Island, Holmes Beach.

Just renovated and beautifully decorated! Amazing amenities! Nature lover's paradise and boater's paradise!

What makes this property unique

Condo building closest to the shore on LBK! Can't be built like this anymore! Looks like you're on a cruise ship from inside the condo. Beautiful walks across the street near lovely private golf course.
