Oceanfront 2 bedroom 2 bathroom for Whale Watching

The ultimate in luxury, one of the few truly beachfront condominiums located right on Maui's famous Ka'anapali Beach. This spectacular oceanfront condo features two bedrooms, two bathrooms and breath taking views of Ka'anapali Beach and the West Maui Mountains.

It's adjacent to the world famous oceanfront Whaler Village Shopping Center. Take a moonlit stroll on the 1.5 mile promenade along the beach in front of all the Resorts. Lahaina Town is less than two miles away with 'open air trolley car' service each half hour. ***NEW CARPET INSTALLED in April 2019

A daily resort fee will be paid directly to The Whaler upon check-in. The current fee is $25/a day, but is subject to change. This fee covers onsite parking, WIFI, fresh clean towels at the pool, access to the gym etc...

**Our private lanai will be experiencing on and off construction as they complete the exterior paint project. Due to be completed by the end of April 2024.

This unit is even better than the pictures show. The unit is well maintained, comfortable, the pool and spa area is clean with plenty of lounge chairs. The views from the wrap around lanai incredible! We were 2 adult couples and would definitely book this room again. You won’t be disappointed staying here.

Host was unresponsive after we checked in. In fact never responded and we stayed 8 days. Bed in master bedroom needs replaced. The mattress is so lumpy the floor is more comfortable. Terrible that they would keep a mattress like this.

Everything was wonderful. We love Maui, and in particular, The Whaler. Our grandchildren were able to experience the same things their Mom did as a kid when we visited. We are grateful for this beautiful unit 1273 and a chance to make new family memories.

Having been an ‘interval child’ for several decades of The Whaler (but Mom and Dad sold it in the late 90’s), we knew what to expect. We were not disappointed. The unit being on the 12th (top) floor, the views are just stunning. The unit easily accommodated four adults and two children very comfortably. The Whaler property as a whole has been very well maintained and redone in some areas. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We cried leaving and started planning our return while still there.The Whaler’s Village next door has really made a come back. We were impressed with the condition of the facility and the quality of the stores and restaurants. The newest member of the restaurant family, The Monkeypod Grill, was excellent. On the other side of The Whaler, sits the Maui Brewing Co., which we also enjoyed.Lastly, Lahaina has started to rebuild! We attended the first event held around the Banyan Tree Friday night. Mixed emotions, but very inspiring.

The Whaler is a great option for a family looking for a great location on Kaanapali beach. The pool is not large and I could see how it could get packed in the busy season but it’s right next to the ocean and activities center. This is not a party crowd, a lot of people we met were owners or have been coming to the Whaler for years. We enjoyed it. The room was great, wrap around deck. I would recommend booking a room towards the front of the building or away from Whaler’s village (we were back corner but did have ocean view) because the compressors at Whalers village are quite loud. The 2 bed/2bath condo was spacious and clean, nice bathroom amenities. A couple odd things, there were no containers with lids in the kitchen (Tupperware), as mentioned in other reviews, the primary bed is incredibly soft and lumpy (time for a new mattress), and the owner never addressed my questions about arrival or the bed. That being said, I would stay at the Whaler again. I thought it was a good value in the off season, would I pay double around peak season? Probably not. (PS. Underground parking is tight and if you go to dinner you may need to park in tennis lot. The gym is fantastic, not really mentioned in description).

The perfect getaway

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at this condo and we enjoyed it even more this time. It is a beautiful condo located on Ka’anapali beach, which is a perfect location. We loved every minute of it and will definitely be back!

Beautiful home away from home

The resort is wonderful. The views are spectacular. The property is immaculate with friendly staff and great amenities! The location is perfect on beautiful Kaanapali Beach with Black Rock just a short walk away for magnificent snorkeling! Shopping and dining are also right down the beautiful beach walk.
