Lovely apartment in BSM

Well maintained and well appointed apartment in BSM. Very convenient location for the town, supermarket (30 metres) and the funicular up to Arc 1600 (5-10 minute walk in ski boots or free navette (La Ronde) two mins away at Le Savoy stop). The apartment can sleep many people, but four is very comfortable when considering storage and drying of ski gear. Separate locker for storage of skis in the basement is convenient. Jerome is very good - easy to contact (very rapid replies) very friendly and willing to help - his snow dance worked!

Perfect location, great host

The apartment is in a great location. It is a 5 minute walk from the funicular in ski boots. (buy some SIDAS rubber ski boot crampons). ski lockers in Bourg are very expensive. If you rent skis in 1600, most shops let you leave the skis there overnight. LIDL is next door and opens at 08.30, until 7pm (12.30 Sunday), there is a great bakery 200 yards away. The sport 2000 ski shop just around the corner offers great service, edge and wax for 17 euros. The Ronde bus stops behind the apartment block.(through the back garden). Le Chalet restaurant is excellent and is 100 yards away (reservation needed). The apartment sleeps 4 very comfortably and although it might look a little cramped in terms of storage space, there are lots of cupboards and places to store your stuff, as well as a 'cave' for skis. We slept 6 for 1 of my weeks, 2 adults on one of the very comfortable sofa beds, 2 kids in the bunks, and 2 adults in the double room. You have everything you need for a great holiday. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric fondue, a pierrade, a 4 ring ceramic hob, a small oven, and a microwave. I managed a 3 course dinner party for 6 adults! Jerome is the perfect host, very responsive, and very helpful at all times.

Appartement très agréable, calme, de construction récente, bien aménagé, avec un parking en sous sol. Situation à proximité du funiculaire et de tous les commerces donc très pratique: pas utilisé la voiture de le semaine... Propriétaire très sympatique, disponible et arrangeant ! Bref: nous avons passer de très bonnes vacances.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans la location. L'appartement est encore mieux que sur le descriptif. Très bien équipé, dans une résidence calme, à deux pas du funiculaire. Le propriétaire est attentif et réactif à la moindre demande. Location à faire "les yeux fermés"

Très bel appartement, bien équipé, très propre et idéalement situé. Il ne manque rien dans l'appartement et la literie est très confortable, chose importante après une journée de ski ! Nous avons passé une semaine avec nos 2 enfants, tout le monde était ravi du séjour, nous y reviendrons avec plaisir. Les propriétaires sont attentifs à votre bien être et très arrangeants sur les heures de départ ou d'arrivée quand cela est possible. Location à recommander pour un séjour réussi. G et V LE LOUARN

Wonderful apartment in perfect location

We stayed in the apartment for one week whilst skiing in nearby Les Arcs. Let me be clear, it is ridiculously expensive to stay in Les Arcs by comparison to this beautiful apartment and having been used to staying up in the resort we chose to stay in beautiful Bourg St Maurice to sample a different experience. The apartment is warm and spacious and has everything we required to accommodate, feed and entertain five adults all week. There was a plentiful supply of hot water and heat. Bedding and blankets were provided. The apartment is five minutes from the main train station (five hours direct from Paris) and is across the road from Lidl. There is a beautiful bakery 100 yards away which is open 14 hours a day every day and plenty of bars and restaurants in Bourg St Maurice which we were happy to take advantage of. The funicular railway takes you from the town up to Les Arcs 1600 which then opens up into a fantastic resort fit for all levels of skier, The funicular costs are included within your ski pass so there is no additional cost for travelling up each day and the trains run every 15 minutes so you are rarely waiting around. My honest opinion is that the saving you make on accommodation costs between staying in Les Arcs or staying in Bourg St Maurice make it a really easy decision to stay in Bourg St Maurice. My favourite thing about this apartment was that the owners made the effort to stay later on their own trip to make sure we had arrived safely and showed us around and made a real effort to ensure we had everything we needed. It is little things like that which set apart the good from the exceptional. All in all this has been a really positive experience for my family. I will, if our hosts will have us again, definitely be staying at the apartment on our next trip.

Bel Appartement situé en plein centre de Bourg, ce qui est appréciable pour les courses, pas trop loin du funiculaire, qui vous amène direct sur les pistes des ARC....Cool! La deco est plutôt sympa et on a tenu à 6 sans aucun problème. A recommander donc chaleureusement pour des vacances ensoleillés comme ce fut notre cas!

Conforme à la description et à nos attentes

J'ai pour habitude de louer en station de ski. Cette année nous avons opté pour une formule différente avec un nouveau né pour ne pas avoir à monter en station. Je vous recommande sans hésitation cette appartement. Idéalement situé au coeur du village de Bourg St Maurice. Le funiculaire se trouve à 2 pas et vous accédez en quelques minutes au domaine skiable des Arcs. Appartement décoré avec soin, typiquement montagnard. L'équipement est complet et idéal pour des vacances en famille ou entre amis. Pour les non skieurs, ce qui était le cas de notre nounou et de notre enfant, vous pourrez vous balader dans les rues du village et aux alentours. Pour conclure, nous tenons à remercier le propriétaire qui, pour nous, a assurer lui-même la remise des clés. Une personne très sympathique et avenante. Ça change des résidences de location où le réceptionniste ne vous parle pas... Nous y retournerons, c'est sûr, pour des vacances d'été cette fois-ci.

Perfect for skiing in Les Arcs!

Spent new year-holidays in this cosy apartment, perfect located in central Bourg St. Maurice, close to cafés and restaurants and pedestrian streets as well as five minutes walk from the funiculaire to Les Arcs. Wonderful skiing in a large area. Quick acces with the funiculaire. Enjoyed staying in a "real" French town. The apartment itself is not very big but had everything we needed for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. Well equipped kitchen (though a bit small), seperated bathroom and toilet, efficient wifi. A surplus was the indoor parking underneath the building as we didn't need the car during the week. Also, the ownersare extremely friendly, flexible and serviceminded. All in all great value for money! I would recommend this place any day to anyone wishing a great holiday in an authentic, mountaineous setting whether going for active holiday or other natural/gastronomic purposes.

La location est située à 2 pas du funiculaire desservant les Arcs1600 et de la rue piétonne commerçante où l'on trouve tous les commerces y compris des restaurants sympathiques (à recommander le" Refuge 810 " avec ses spécialités savoyardes). Bourg Saint Maurice est une petite ville agréable et située au carrefour d'itinéraires touristiques divers. De plus le propriétaire est très sympathique et hyper accueillant. Je conseille cette location à : seniors, visites touristiques, randonnées.
