Breakers West, Unit B-1 is a spacious, two bedroom, two bathroom residence at the highly sought after Breakers West community that's only 100 yards to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico! Less than a 2 minute walk - we've timed it!

This non-smoking condo has tons to offer. Two bedrooms, two full baths - both bathrooms fully renovated in the last year! A fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances and everything guests need to make themselves at home. In-condo laundry room with full size washer and dryer. Unlimited wi-fi included. Beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrella are all provided for guest use. The master bedroom has a king bed, the guest bedroom has two twin beds, and both bedrooms have TVs. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa and flat screen TV. And guests can relax on the lanai overlooking the pool and lush green landscaping. Being an end unit, B-1 has extra windows allowing tons of extra sunlight.

Breakers West is sure to impress through it's immaculately kept condition and fantastic location and amenities. It is a three story building with only 18 privately owned condos nestled among palm trees and hibiscus on beautifully manicured grounds. Its limited number of units and location on West Gulf Drive contributes to an uncrowded and relaxing vacation. The complex offers a heated swimming pool, BBQ grills and is conveniently located very close to the bike paths of Sanibel. And don't forget to check out the stars on the beautiful rooftop deck!

Sanibel Island offers amazing bike paths, the Ding Darling wildlife refuge, golf courses, shopping, and of course fantastic restaurants! Come and enjoy the low-key, relaxed island vibe!

There will be one assigned parking space. There is also guest parking available on a first come, first served basis. No trailers or RVs allowed.

On-island management available during business hours, and 24/7 by phone, to assist with your check-in, check-out and questions or concerns during your stay. Host is also available by phone, text, or email and is very responsive to any questions you may have about things to do, places to eat, or any other concerns.

No smoking allowed indoors, on our lanai, or anywhere except in the property's designated smoking area. We cannot accommodate pets per the rules of the condo association.

Our condo was very clean and updated. A short walk to the beach and the pool was very nice. The owners were very helpful and easy to work with. They also went out of their way to assist us with a item we left behind.If your looking for a great place to stay this is it !

We loved the accommodation's. It was gorgeous! There was ample items for the beach (chairs, umbrella, toys, gadgets), the kitchen is well stocked with large pots and pans, I guess the only negative thing I can say is it was a little warm in the condo, but we are used to having a cooler home. They did have fans that you could use so we put those to use. A little tip- bring no seeum spray- the whole island has them.

Great beach getaway!

The property was great, it had everything that we needed and was so close to the beach. It was nice to be able to walk to the beach and not have to drive. The pool water temperature and the pool noodles made for the perfect afternoon! The sea shells on the beach were unbelievable. It was a wonderful winter getaway, thank you!

Fabulous beach for shells!

Very clean, well equipped kitchen, great beach supplies and loved having access to bikes. Truly steps from a beach that made finding shells more like shell selecting!

Sanibel Island

This property is located a very short walk from the most amazing shell finding beach. Many of the surrounding properties are still recovering from Hurricane Ian, but other than the non working elevator, this property is in excellent condition. We had a wonderful time!

The condo was lovely. Short walk to the beach with all the essentials (chairs, towels, sand toys). Enough room for the 6 of us that stayed. Central location close to main part of the island or north to Captiva.

We did enjoy our stay. So glad for the second bathroom w the second bedroom that was private and not in the hall. Elevator access was important too. Host was very responsive during our stay as were the managers. Nice not to have to clean before we left. Convenient to all Sanibel attractions.

Sanibel getaway

This condo was one of the few available on the beach side of Gulf Drive after the hurricane 2 years ago, so we were thrilled to get to stay there! The condo itself is close to the main road and does not have a beach view but it has access to a beautiful uncrowded beach. The condo is well-decorated and has everything you need including beach chairs and an umbrella. We especially appreciated the pool and two adult bikes that were in good shape. We rode to the beach accesses, the farmers market, Tarpon Bay and the Bean. Some of our favorite restaurants are up and running. We have never seen so many shells on the beach! Sanibel has yet to recover in terms of natural beauty but we enjoyed being there!

Sanibel/Captiva could capture your heart!

We really enjoyed our stay in Sanibel. The condo was very clean and looked exactly as depicted. The kitchen was well stocked if you were planning on eating in. We enjoyed dinner at Doc Fords, Traditions, Sandbar, and The Mucky Duck. Highlights of our week included sunsets, bike riding, eco tour at Tarpon Bay and enjoying the beach. The owner was very responsive. Can’t wait to go back to this very charming island.

Quiet clean and PERFECT beach access

The property is not ON the water but if you love and appreciate Sanibel Island you will love this very roomy and clean condo. We loved the communication with the property manager. Not a fan of San Cap management as they weren’t helpful or friendly but the property owners were great! Overall I would absolutely stay here again!!

Family Tradition

This is our seventh straight year going to Sanibel for our summer vacation in July. We have always stayed at Breakers West, but this is our first year staying in B1. The apartment was very clean & nicely updated. The apartment had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Great communication with the owners, and check-in & check-out process was a breeze. We will definitely look for this unit again next year. Great family memories!

We’ve stayed at Breakers West before, although at another unit. Everything we needed was here, although we did run out of toilet paper. Very comfortable, close enough to shopping and restaurants but far enough away from traffic. The pool is clear and clean, the beach just a short walk away and lounge chairs are available. Beach towels were available for rent @$10 each. The only downside was a neighbor who smoked frequently so the smell on the lanai (even with the fan on) was pretty strong.

Sanibel Return

My wife and I booked Breakers West B1 on our first trip back to Sanibel after Ian. We were not disappointed. The unit was exceptionally clean and well-equipped and steps to the pool and beach in one of our favorite parts of the island. Only a short ride to the Ding Darling Preserve as well. Our hosts were quick to respond to any questions or concerns. While signs of Ian's destruction were evident nearby and throughout Sanibel, including to a nearby condo where we used to stay, recovery was also evident. On the downside, the no-see-ums were aggressive so bring some spray! Other than that, we had a great stay in a wonderful unit!

Great time in paradise!

This was our second stay (2019 previously) at this property and we really enjoyed our time. The check in process was smooth and easy as the key pickup is on the way to the property. The condo was clean and their were umbrellas, chairs, etc. for us to use on the beach. The condo is located close to wonderful nature preserves which we took advantage of on multiple occasions. One thing I was not aware of prior to this second trip was the access to the Waterside Inn which prevented from renting their bikes or using any of their amenities. Other than that we loved our stay and look forward to returning again!

Lovely Restful Vacation in a Rebuilding Sanibel

We spent a lovely spring break at Breakers West with our seven-year old. The island is still very much rebuilding after the hurricane, and it was sad to see the damage the area has gone through and certain places that will likely never come back. The rebuilding included our own unit. When we arrived, there were not covers on one switch and two outlets. It took a few days for the owner to get someone to take care of that. The main light switches also lacked their toggles so you had to reach into the switch a little to turn them on or off. That was not fixed during our week-long stay. To be clear, the owner responded VERY quickly to any messages we sent, which was appreciated. The owner also told us the the space had been repainted recently and that we were only their second rental since the hurricane, so the issues are understandable. Hopefully they will be able to get it resolved soon. The parking lot was being recovered while we were there and so there was not yet any signs for where to park (but we figured it out). Other residents and visitors were very friendly and we spent a good deal of time in the pool. It was kept very hot and so another guest asked one of the maintenance people if they could turn it down a few degrees, which they did. Afterwards it was better, but still pretty warm for swimming in weather in the low to mid 70s (the water felt warmer than the air) What we loved was the smaller size of this condo building, which made for a more intimate experience.

Disappointing in several ways

First, the condo is not as close to the beach as led to believe from communications. Second, sitting on the balcony/porch, it is difficult to read or relax due to the constant traffic noise on the street just below. Third, the parking situation is extremely limited--we came home once to a workman taking up our assigned parking space, saying sorry, he had "no where else to park." And if you have a second vehicle, spaces are extremely limited (and probably nonexistent in high season.) Lastly, if you look up this complex from the info you are sent on these units, it talks about an every-Friday night party for guests with complimentary drinks. Just so you know, there is apparently no such thing. And about that red tide. Owners said they would refund our money if it was too bad. But they said we needed to come and see for ourselves. Appreciate their stated willingness to refund our money but would have preferred to not have to test it out first. And what constitutes too bad? It affected our guest with breathing issues on the second day, but who wants to pack up and leave after one night!? However, I would definitely not go somewhere again where red tide was/is a threat. No one can predict which way the wind will blow from day to day, and that's what differentiates the good days from the bad days when red tide is around. Separately, had under $100 worth of damage/repair issues which occured have since been resolved. Thankful for having purchased the damage insurance! Had the $75 part of it not been covered by insurance, I would have definitely disputed condo owner's claim it was not their responsibility.

We chose to buy this home because of the location, beach front on the west side of Sanibel where you can see the most beautiful sunsets in the world. We got married on this beach, and fell in love with Sanibel!

The unit is located on the Gulf side of West Gulf Drive, with private beach access. As it is located on beachfront property, it's a short walk to the beach where you can enjoy the wildlife, shelling, sunsets and waves.
